Hi,

Zero hours contract. States in my contract 4 weeks notice. It will actually cost me more money to work my notice than to leave. Can this still stand as it is zero hours? Can i just leave? Can I decline my hours for the 4 weeks?

The training was just general moving and handing and health and safety. The rest was online where I had to do courses.

However the document they have sent is still only about covering the cost of my duties not training.

I don't know about training but my company takes back the cost of the DBS check from your final wages if you leave within the first year. It's clear in our contract but people still act surprised.

I paid for my own dbs or else they'd probably try charge me for that too haha!

Ring ACAS op. They seem to be on shaky grounds.
