University - 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.

Plus 4 free days over Christmas!

JaiNotJay · 15/11/2018 14:25

32 days plus public holidays. Sometimes the public sector ain't so bad!

festivellama · 15/11/2018 14:42

20 days plus bank holidays, and out of that 20 I have to reserve some for when they shut down between Christmas and New Year.

So bare minimum really, and realistically, only about 15 if Christmas/NY at the weekends and I have to take the whole week off in between.

yorkshirepud44 · 15/11/2018 17:55

28 plus public hols plus I purchase an additional 5. I'm very lucky.

RomanyRoots · 15/11/2018 17:56

Everyday, yeah!

Bastardingcough · 15/11/2018 17:56

28 days + 8 bank/public holidays, pro rata.

spaghettiforhair · 15/11/2018 18:01

25 days plus bank holidays and closed from 21 December to 2 January for Christmas this year.

Parker231 · 15/11/2018 18:07

Six weeks plus bank holidays - global consultancy company. I also buy another six weeks holiday which I negotiated last year when I dropped to a four day week.

ButFirstTea · 15/11/2018 18:07

30 days, plus bank hols, plus office closed for 3 days between Christmas and New Year.

TurquoiseWeekend · 15/11/2018 18:08

30 days plus off all bank holidays and the option to buy more and carry a week forward to next year if we want.

Chottie · 15/11/2018 18:11

Public sector - 30 days + 1 concessionary day + 6 BH

DowntonCrabby · 15/11/2018 18:13

35 days with no public holidays as standard. I either have PH as day off or if required to work paid double time. Generally only required to work 2/3 over the year.

Kerning · 15/11/2018 18:15

33 days + BHs + Christmas closure (days between Xmas and NY)

CookieSwirlC · 15/11/2018 18:38

31 days (normal is 28 but you get extra for long service) plus bank holidays. We have compulsory close down at Christmas but we have to use our leave and/or flexi hours to cover them.

NickMarlow · 15/11/2018 18:44

6 weeks, but only 6 of those days can be Sundays. Plus bank holidays, usually added to my holiday allowance because I work most of them.

I work for a church.

SilverDoe · 15/11/2018 18:47

31.5 days plus public holidays - I only started getting that much this year though as it goes up after 5 years :)

combatbarbie · 15/11/2018 18:48

30 days and 8 bank holiday, boss can also give an extra 6 days

HunterHearstHelmsley · 15/11/2018 18:48

30+8

Starts at 25 days then goes up 1 for each year of service until 30.

LuckyDiamond · 15/11/2018 18:49

25 days
5 public holidays
12 flexi days

Soosiesoo · 15/11/2018 18:50

28 days, plus public, plus 4/5 at Christmas! Very fortunate. That said I'm paid slightly under market value I reckon. But a good trade as I have school aged children!

Murinae · 15/11/2018 18:50

37 days plus bank holidays

Xuli · 15/11/2018 18:51

25 days plus bank holidays, with the odd random day off if Christmas eve falls on a Friday or something where they know no one will be arsed to come into work. Also have the option to buy another 5 days a year through salary sacrifice if we want.

blackcat86 · 15/11/2018 19:19

Public sector - 29 days this year (including 2 days to use over xmas and 1 day carried over from last year). Our building shuts between Xmas and new year so we get those days on the house minus the 2 concessionary days that we have to use.

SayKnockKnock · 15/11/2018 19:47

275hrs. Shift worker with shifts of varying lengths 8-11hrs so how far it stretches depends on which days you take off.

We get 6 public holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 1st and 2bd January, good Friday and Easter Monday) if you're rostered in you work it and get paid extra if you're off you're lucky!

IRememberSoIDo · 15/11/2018 19:50

30 plus bank holidays.
