Have NC for this. I posted a thread on 30 days and the lovely ladies over there suggested I posted a link to it in here to get some advice. I am at a lose end and feel like I’m fighting a losing battle. Please don’t flame me.

When you told work did you give them your full account?

As scary as it all seems you really won't have very much involvement from here. It doesn't matter that he is calling your ex in, they can both say what they want.

The gross misconduct meeting (surely it's an investigation meeting at this point?) is to discuss his performance at work against the company code of conduct/policy's and handbooks.

My best advice is to get on with your work, don't talk about it with anyone unless it's HR.

It’s a hearing. The investigation has been completed now and he has a case to answer to for gross misconduct.
