Can I use this as evidence and do they have to listen?

I posted on Mumsnet asking for help with an issue last May - I ended up having to make an official complaint a month or so later but the woman is denying or minimising what was said. Do you think me showing them the post would go any way to proving that what I am saying is true or will they just ignore it or would it get me I trouble?

I also have proof that I could not have done something else I am being accused of but am not sure how to go about revealing this. Am due to have meeting with big boss in a month but the information that I have will probably be ignored as they just want the issue to go away.

Have already got higher powers involved but have been told hat I am not allowed to do this due to Respect and Dignity Policy.

Am at a complete loss as to what to do now.

I would think posting about it on here would be a potential breach of the company social networking policy so wouldn't advise it

I can't see how you posting about it on here is more "proof" than any statement you make in real life. And I would always caution against highlighting the fact that you post about work issues to the entire world on social networking, even if you think it's anonymous.

I agree with 17. Do not give them any indication that you posted online about work. I think you shouldn't include anything about your work online except factual stuff on LinkedIn - unless it is part of your job to put stuff online.

Thank you. I just thought they would finally accept what happened if they could see I had sought advice.

What about the thing I can prove. Will they have to take notice of that. It is someone saying I accessed something and shared info when I have never had access to the info. You would have to be a member of the hr team to have that info.

Dd just informed me one of the women who is involved's daughter is telling people at her school that I am to be sacked.

I really am not sure I can stand this anymore. I'll end up jumping off a bridge at this rate. It's been 10 months of this hanging over my head!

Yep.

Dh is saying just walk away. We'll pay back the extra maternity pay and walk away but I fear I'll have to go to her house and throttle her just to get some sort of justice.

School holidays and annual leave. I have emailed and said what an adverse effect it is having on my mental health but got no joy. I also asked that the meetings be held at my house as 2 previous ones were and got a categorical no!

But then what do I expect. The lady going through the investigation report with me is the boss of one of the people I complained about and showed my complaint email directly to the lady i was complaining about.

I think you have a further complaint to make - no way should any child have any idea that this stuff is going on, not to mention saying something like that to your DD.

If you are tempted to walk away, could there be a compromise agreement and some cash from them to get you to leave? It makes sense to stick it out, go legal or use your union if you have one and wring as much money out of them as possible, unless it will damage your reputation or make it hard for you to get another job. Do you have legal cover on your home insurance? Having said all of that, I don't actually know what your situation is, so obviously it may not be an appropriate path.

Long story. Lots of threads.

Told someone what they were saying was racism.
She complained that I called her a racist.
Horrid lady in office joined in adding lots of lies (can prove biggest lie is just that)
I found out and went on special leave due to being pregnant.
Was investigation - no one dealt with, lady did not realise was racism!
I was told other lady did not have to like me.
Got redeployed to where investigator was based.
She bullied me.
Refused to go into work and took early maternity leave as was so stressed.
Another investigation undertaken - again unfounded!
Meeting is to go over findings.

I have copy of report and it is lies and minimisation.
I said in beginning would be brushed under carpet and has been.
Boss throw me under bus to save her skin too.

That's it really.

She told dds best friend. Dd has spent all holiday refusing treats and new clothes. Finally came out why this evening - because I am to be sacked!

No advice I'm afraid just wanted to say that I know how you feel as I have a similar thing where I work (worked) too. I resigned in the end and have gone back to a different department as a contractor. I too was bullied and lied to and left completely unsupported.

I'm still debating whether to raise a stage two grievance or just walk away. I want to prevent this happening to anyone else, but really, can I ...? Will anyone even listen.....

It's the feelings of impotence that I can't handle.

It's all out of my hands being decided by people who seem to be colluding with each other.

Final straw dd being affected.

Is it reasonable that I demand this meeting be sooner and with someone else if the person they want to do it is not available to do it sooner.

Dd 5 months slept all night but I haven't slept at all. Seems silly probably but I feel like I need to do something to release the hurt inside of me and I'm a bit scared what that will be.

Are you in a union - could you take a representative with you to fight your corner or just to provide support/document what is said? Write every detail down to take with you so you are prepared.

I would be very surprised if any employment solicitor advised you to resign and claim constructive dismissal. It is very difficult to prove. Agree with contacting union if you are a member and/or speaking with a solicitor. Employers have to follow stringent rules and if they fail to do so as I understand it can make any decision procedurally unfair. You may also be able to file a grievance regarding the way it has been dealt with so that might be something to look at.

Sounds like a complete nightmare op. Hope you get it sorted soon. At the end of the day it is only a job and there are more important things in life.

This sounds horrible.

Your instinct to submit your posts as an indication, of how things happened for you, is relying on "contemporaneous" notes and accounts, and there is a basis for the validity of such contemporanous material, for example in journalism.

Revealing that you posted on socisl media about work, and revesling your user name might not be a sensible idea! Shock What about other material from the time, e.g. emails or texts?

I don't want constructive dismissal just don't want to go back as I would have done after may leave if all this had not had happened.

I've found 2 file notes that were in my file that are referred to in the investigation that are about the same incident and are factually incorrect too. How can she just be allowed to write things and they not be checked and they be put in my file?

Dd is pretty upset, worried her financially and embarrassed too.

It rather underlines that MN is not an adequate substitute for RL, doesn't it?

As for incorrect material on your file, does Data Protection legislation not permit you to demand things are corrected?

I'm not sure about data protection but I am going to demand it expunged from my hr records or will kick up a hell of a stink. It's shucking what can be written about you and can go on your file without your knowledge!
