Can I use this as evidence and do they have to listen?

I posted on Mumsnet asking for help with an issue last May - I ended up having to make an official complaint a month or so later but the woman is denying or minimising what was said. Do you think me showing them the post would go any way to proving that what I am saying is true or will they just ignore it or would it get me I trouble?

I also have proof that I could not have done something else I am being accused of but am not sure how to go about revealing this. Am due to have meeting with big boss in a month but the information that I have will probably be ignored as they just want the issue to go away.

Have already got higher powers involved but have been told hat I am not allowed to do this due to Respect and Dignity Policy.

Am at a complete loss as to what to do now.

That second link is about someone's complaining about wjat his employer had written in his file. He was only able to correct the inaccuracy, not thr line manager's perdonal comments about him, but since you're pissed off aboit the inaccuracy, that will do for you! That case study, again, was [[http://ico.org.uk/what_we_cover/handling_complaints/case_story_8]]

Keep a record of the "old" entries, though, in case you can act on it as a case of harrassment.

That's super thank you.

Am going to have a fun week when kids go back to school trying to fit in forensically examining the dossier of bollocks they have concocted and writing my own with corrections.

Got a weird letter saying I have asked for pension contributions in Saturday too. Think maybe have been sacked and no one has bothered to tell me!

If that's your P60, it's an annusl thing , not n end if service thing

Madamecastafiore · 22/04/2014 18:16

No, was a letter stating they I had requested a refund of my pension contributions. Apparently it's a mystery, they have no idea why it was sent to me!

I've spoken to ACAS and they have advised that I ask for proof to back up their allegations and once again atYe what racist comments were used and that I found them offensive and whether the perpetrator did or did understand they were offensive is neither here nor there and having an Asian doctor and black dentist and friends who call you whitey is not an adequate defence.

Keep a record of it in case it's some sort of weird harassment...? Confused

... or in case you need to show evidence of their incompetence with paperwork!

pluCaChange · 22/04/2014 18:30

Oops, cross posted with your ACAS advice!

Formal correspondence with them about their shortcomings is a neat way to protect yourself in advance of any attempt to sack you. Rather ironic, if they are indeed, as you suspect, trying to lay their own groundwork!
