We're posting this on behalf of SMV - one of our Gold award winners in the Family Friendly programme; Here's what they say:

SMV group are delighted to be offering a unique opportunity for mums who have worked in the media/communications/advertising industry who are considering a return to the workplace and would welcome the chance to gain a new perspective on their skills/ how to position themselves in the job marketplace.

This ground-breaking concept will offer those selected the chance to take part in an eight day Back to Business-ship programme, across the month of November, covering a wide range of areas including personal development coaching (including skills identification, values, life roles and future ambitions), presentation skills training, commercial awareness and how to market yourself effectively to potential employers in the media and communications industry. It will also cover the world of work and bring you up to speed with the fast changing pace of the workplace.

SMG recognises the importance of supporting this area of talent which is so valuable to our industry and the importance of being a family friendly organisation, as recognised by our much coveted Mumsnet Gold Family Friendly award. We are keen to hear from anyone interested in taking part in this initiative.

If you would like to be considered then please apply and also attach your answer to the following questions:

  1. How would this experience make a difference to you?
  2. What makes you the ideal candidate to consider for our Back to Businessship?

Oh, and did we mention? It’s free.
