Just devastating. DrLouiseJMoody’s wife has died very suddenly and out of the blue. There are no words really, we send so much love to her, their families and all who love and miss her. Her thread is here… Bless her, just so shocking and dreadful for her loved ones, we keep them in our thoughts..

We are so glad DrLouiseJMoody accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug. We want to make it a real tribute and celebration of their lives filled with love. Will you join us?

Initials please -
J (her, obviously),
L (me),
S (Scrabble, our Border Terrier),
M (Matilda, our Staffordshire Bull Terrier),
D (Dexter, for our deceased pygmy hedgehog!).

She was a huge Star Wars fan (the plaque we are getting where part of her ashes will be interred is Star Wars themed in black and gold!). So really as much as possible please

We are wondering if it would be nice to try and create scrabble tiles for the initials? if anyone would like to try.

Simple or complex, made by beginner or expert, we genuinely welcome them all. It really is the love and thought that counts.*

Squares to be six inches, using 4mm needles or hook. Please knot off VERY carefully when finishing or changing colour and sew your ends in, thank you! The last thing any of us want are squares collapsing once the blanket is with Louise.

When posting, it will be the Teddington address, please make sure you add your name and who the squares are for, and if you would like to include a card for Louise please do, we will pass it on.

We will confirm last posting as soon as we are confident folk are underway

More beautiful treasure has been arriving, apologies for the delay, my daughter's tonsillectomy has thrown us upside down for a couple of weeks. But she is much better now!

Afternoon Everyone!

It's here! It's 2 pm and I'm upset like an idiot because J would LOVE it so much! All the Star Wars and scrabble references. It. Is. Brilliant.

A bit overwhelmed (in the best possible way) and can only say THANK YOU.

It's on my bed for now and feels a bit like a weighted blanket so hopefully I'll sleep well. The actual Scrabble is on it at present.

It's a bit like a weighted blanket on our bed and me and dogs are sleeping quite well!

It makes me smile when my days are still very up and down (ten months is nothing in grief time, is it?). And Scrabble seems to like sprawling out on it.
