'Allô 'allo. All looking super duper smashing. Loving the colour ways and as always getting lots of ideas.
I'm on the border of my whole blanket and am part way through joining the kit that arrived so I'm feeling super productive. The fact that's it's taken MONTHS to get here is irrelevant.

Tickets for the Great Woolly Hugs' Hugathon Event II go on Sale tomorrow at 8pm! All info below, a link will be posted on here tomorrow eve! Pics from 2018 to give you a flavour! PLEASE COME!!

(We have had requests to move all over the country with these and we will certainly do this in time, but are running Woolly Hugs around families which makes it tricky at the moment, however we are looking to take Hugathon III elsewhere we promise!)

So it will all take place on Sunday 22nd September 2019, between 11.00am and 3.30pm, at the stunning Square Tower in Old Portsmouth which is right on the sea front.

The venue has ramped access and suitable bathroom facilities for those with mobility issues and is all on the ground floor level.

During our Hugathon, we will be making squares and joining blankets for our Candy’s and Snug projects. We will provide SSDK and equipment for the session.

We will have yarn and gorgeous bits and pieces for sale from the very lovely Alexsis at Seeded and possibly others!

We will be running a rather fabulous Lucky Dip and Gin Raffle. The Square Tower has the most wonderful cafe and bar, although we promise not to hit the gin until at least midday!

Tickets cost £12. (Increase only to cover the Eventbrite fee) Tickets will include a special Event Bag and mystery goodies!

Maximum of four tickets per person.

Extras and ice cream funds for the children.

There are a few extras which we would like to collect to go alongside the blankets, items which really help, if you would like to send us any of these we would love to receive them for the children, thank you, bless you. We have spoken with all groups receiving this year about what they would like and have an adapted list of extras, please note, no shampoo, shower gel this year. We will be adding some of these things to our Amazon wish-list if that helps.

Ice cream funds.
If anyone would like to send any funds to buy the children an ice cream from us during their visit this year, that would be wonderful. Our PayPal is [email protected] (do note the two LLs, gets folk every time!) THANK YOU!

Menthol type cough lozenges
Big and strong long life shopping bags
Tea and instant coffee, packets please
Any little luxuries that 8-12 year olds might love, eg nail varnish, fun stationery, temporary tattoos, little toys with LEDs, mini torches, hair clips, make up bits, mini lego kits, fun/brightly coloured sunglasses, stickers etc.
