Woolly Hugs...We are making a blanket for MamaTeeTee and her children : Lovely donors and crafters, we need your help.

You may have heard the dreadfully sad news that MamaTeeTee’s husband died suddenly at the end of December. Mental ill health can be such a devastating illness. Bless his heart. Life has been very cruel to them. We send MamaTeeTee and their little children our love and are so sorry for their loss. Thanks

We are so glad that she has accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, we hope it may give whatever comfort it can. There will be love crafted into every stitch. MamaTeeTee’s thread is here...

Just from the brands listed please because we know they combine for wash and wear. If you still have any of our wools that have been discontinued - Rowan Cashsoft DK, Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK or James C. Brett Pure Merino DK in your stash, please do use them.

His favourite things were family time, food and the gym. Our initials are M, C, L, Z. He was a builder and loved his work. He was so talented. He loved music - he would listen to anything. He was born in the wrong era as he loved 50s and 60s music.

I'm overwhelmed by your kindness. It's such a lovely thing for you all to do for us. X

Bless her heart, we will make something very beautiful for them as a tribute to her fabulous DH.

Simple or complex, made by beginner or expert, we genuinely welcome them all. It really is the love and thought that counts. There is support for buying colours on our website, here. Squares to be six inches, using 4mm needles or hook. Previous blankets can be seen on our website If looking for ideas for a pattern, there are many linked to from our website under Crafting

Sorry posted last post accidentally. I'm quite new to MN. I'm feeling very lonely so came into Body and Spirit to look around. Your title intrigued me.
I don't knit, sew or do anything crafty but I think this work is incredible and I just wanted to send you all some flowers. It hasn't taken away the loneliness but it reminded me there are some great people out there and you are some of them.
