Huh... is PM not working? I just tried to PM NinjaGoose to ask if she'd share the pattern for the bobbley blanket and every time I touch "send", nothing happens.
It is NinjaGoose, right? Am I missing part of her posting name? Blush

Dear Ninja,
Pistey suggested I PM you and ask if you followed a pattern for the bobble blanket you made for Woolly Hugs. It's just lovely, and DS saw it when I was looking at it and asked if I could make him one like it [eeek].
If you have a pattern, could I ask you to PM it to me or post it on the FB page or the Woolly Pack thread? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to have it Thanks.
Thank you in advance Thanks
Jacks

Oh for FUCK's sake!!!!!! I meant to c&p this into a new PM.
Too much tequila last night.

Do you have Bloody Marys in the UK or is that a North American thing? If it is, I'll explain - if not, ignore me :o
So a Bloody Mary is tomato juice and vodka, variously spicy. In Canada we also have Bloody Caesars, which is vodka and Clamato (a tomato and clam juice mix). Typing clam juice actually makes me , I don't know how exactly one juices a clam and I don't want to know.
Clamato isn't as thick as tomato juice and it comes in mild and spicy. Most Canadians I know prefer Bloody Caesars.
Anyway, long story short - DH went to Arizona with his friends for his birthday, and they had this thing on the drinks menu called a Bloody Jesus (it should have the little accent over the E but I can't find it on my phone). So DH asked and it's tomato juice and tequila, which we've turned into Clamato and tequila and we've named it a Dirty Caesar. And we had a few last night.
No headache, thank goodness, just a little fuzzy-headed and slow.

Jacksmania pattern is here for the bobble spiral, do watch your tension on the ch4 between bobbles, they need to be quite loose (I found for my tension) or you end up with a fried egg effect blanket like mine and for the border I did a round of treble clusters in the gaps and then worked a round of half trebles and a round of slip stitch with a picot but obviously you can finish it however you like Smile

we do have bloody marys in the UK, I think I'll give the clam juice a miss if that's ok though Grin

Basically every bookmark on my phone's browser is a crochet pattern and you lot keep linking more!! Now I just need to convince both my children to sleep at the same time so I have opportunity to crochet.

Clam juice is the strained liquid of shucked clams. Nothing more.

So, basically clam stock. Mmmm. [barf]
