Coffee. So necessary today.

SoupDragon · 04/09/2013 07:50

How about Bellinis?

MrsKwazii · 04/09/2013 07:56

Oh the drinks trolley is most definitely boozy WinkI do love a Bellini and am also partial to a Bucks Fizz - if it contains fruit juice it's a breakfast drink, right?

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 04/09/2013 08:11

Bucks fizz must be 2 of your 5 a day surely - 1 for orange juice and one for the grapes

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 04/09/2013 08:28

AnyaKnowIt · 04/09/2013 09:29

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/09/2013 10:26

Perking down?

HairyPotter · 04/09/2013 11:22

My knitting is so wonky that even if I downed mutiple bellinis/bucks fizz, no one could tell the difference. Grin

Are we doing a woolly hug for Enim? Such sad news. Ive just re read her thread about the addicted foster baby. She was truly inspirational Sad

SoupDragon · 04/09/2013 11:23

I am mostly perked down these days [sigh]

SoupDragon · 04/09/2013 11:24

On the subject of a Hug for Emin - would it be a good/better/possible idea to send a small batch of baby blankets to her local fostering agency to go with fostered babies who have nothing?

TheWoollybacksWife · 04/09/2013 11:41

Soupy that sounds like a lovely idea.

I have woollyone at work, woollytwo pretending to tidy her room and pack her school bag for tomorrow and woollythree off for his first day back at school for year 2.

The house is quiet and quite blissful

AnyaKnowIt · 04/09/2013 13:29

I'll help with blankets Sad.

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 04/09/2013 13:58

Just been reading the thread in chat and EMIN's past threads. Heartbreaking, blankets for the fostering agency sounds like a lovely idea.

So many threads in this section - a woolly hug history. It's so sad that so many blankets have been needed

I agree that some of the blanket threads are really sad, but some are amazingly inspirational. My DD was the proud recipient of a Little Hug as she had a big surgery last month. I cannot possibly express how wonderful it was to receive a box with so much love and blessings under its lid. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of my fellow MNetters. Smile

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 05/09/2013 10:25

It's sad that so many have been needed, but it's overwhelming that so many MNetters have been involved, caring and supporting each other. Nest of vipers my arse!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 05/09/2013 10:57

My arse too

Dutchoma · 05/09/2013 13:24

I got my yarn from Anya. It is beautiful and enough to make a shawl. I'll see if I can put a picture on my profile.

Thumbwitch · 05/09/2013 15:34

Just been directed here by Dutchoma, re. blanket for EMIN - if anyone wants some wool to do a baby blanket for EMIN's foster agency, please let me know - or indeed, if anyone decides that EMIN's family should receive anything - I'm happy to donate wool again.

Nice new topic, btw. :) Thanks
