Hello ladies.

I posted my squares, for both blankets, today. The post mistress gave a knowing little wink when she read the address, so now I am wondering if she has done any squares too!

I'd be rather hammered lol... the squares may end up wonky!

Nessa - that's one advantage of being a 'tight' knitter - the stitches never just fall off the needle they need to be forcefully removed!! Did your Mum sort it out for you?

I don't know when I can do - I'm working 6/7 for the next fortnight, then 'on call' on top of regular days for a couple of weeks after that. I have a lot of stuff to squish into the day off, so can't commit to that either :( So wont be able to do anything for at least 3 weeks, if not longer.

Lewis - I'd be checking DS hasn't 'borrowed' them for something!!

Hello Jax :)

knottylocks - the slightly unusual packaging was a re-cycling attempt as DS is going through a very artistic phase and there is a limit to how many treasured pictures I can keep!

Panic over - I was sitting on them (under the sofa cushion!)

Glad you liked them Knotty, was pleased with the crochet as I made the flower up as I went along. If there is anything else that I can do, please let me know... if there are any London or Essex knitters or hookers who need help, more than happy to do so :)

fourth square made - think I'll get a fifth out of the bits left, then I'll send the leftovers for hooking

The fourth one is stripey with the blue and pink donated wool; I added some cream I had already too. It's a little skinny (5.5in), but stretches to 6in wide and is already 6in tall.... hope it'll fit!

well went to finish off other square and I have lost a knitting needle! Cant find it anywhere... think DD may have borrowed it and now its vanished, so when I go to the PO later I will pop into the crafty shop and buy some more needles.
