Terrible news

OP posts:

It doesnt matter if any woman is homophobic, racist, ageist, size-ist, able-ist, foul-mouthed, tortures kittens etc. Not that there's evidence of any of this in Sandie's case.
She's still entitled by law to have a single-sex space to change in.
Hope that helps.

How is she a "vile bigot" for making a couple of "forbidden" comments in what she thought was a private WhatsApp group, of the type that many ordinary people make every day without any particular maliciousness being intended?

In what way is she homophobic?

She was "relentless in her nastiness" to the point that other colleagues stopped communication with her.

Ordinary people do not share their wishes to post bacon through a Mosque's letterbox, nor mock Pakistani flood victims' deaths. Nor do they use racist language and slurs, say they are 'devastated' by their daughter coming out and seek advice on how to 'cope' with a gay relative.

It may be what you're used to but I can quite assure you that no decent people engage in any such conduct.

"She was devastated about a family member being gay and asked me 'how I coped with two family members being gay'."

That's the exact quote. I wonder why you would remove the word devastated from it. Is it because you know Sandie's homophobic (and racist, and transphobic) but you need her not to be lest you have to confront your own potential bigotry?

Why on earth would Sandie be referring to herself in the third person? Is this some new pronoun thing? Or perhaps those words are the exact quote of somebody else and Peggie herself never said that?

There's quite the evidence body of her being both racist and homophobic. And yes, even racist homophobes deserve single sex spaces. But they don't deserve being held up as some kind of heroine when she's nothing but a vile bigot.

Which colleagues? The trans handmaiden loons who were hounding her?

Her own friend exposed her during the tribunal. And then Sandie spoke about it to The Telegraph - that bastion of anti-homophobic press coverage!

Where is your quote? You’re just giving anecdotal opinions

Where is the evidence that she's homophobic? Or even racist? I mean real racism, not some comments about religious dress.

The quote was about what Sandie told her. Unless you think that they were lying? Because it seems that Sandie found it difficult to remember certain things - until she was faced with the colleagues giving evidence about her bigotry.

She admits to using racist slurs. She needed advice on how to 'cope' with a gay daughter.

The important thing is surely the RCN’s feet being held to the fire and the RCN being required to try to show they were not prejudiced against someone for their lawfully held beliefs. I assume they will be more careful to be even handed going forward. If not they’ll find themselves back in court soon enough.

They hounded her so much that Sandie thought they were friends? How strange.

I know it's very fashionable to decide that all women who aren't sufficiently transphobic for Mumsnet's dogma are 'trans handmaidens' - but I would encourage you to leave the house and speak to people more. You might realise that your echo chamber is doing you a disservice.

Which "racist slurs"? I read that she'd said something about religious dress and religious practices and even caveated her comments by saying "oops, I shouldn't say that, should I?" or something similar. These are just silly things ordinary people say every day in private communications. You're burning her as a witch for nothing.

Where did she use the word "cope"? And so what if she asks someone with a gay kid how she dealt with her kid coming out as gay? It's an issue that many parents seek advice on. How is that "homophobic"?

For someone who hates this ‘echo chamber’ you dedicate a lot of your time to it. I wish I had that time to waste.

What are you on about? Sandie's colleagues who were character assasinating her were exactly the ones who were pushing trans ideology in their workplace.

Believing that men shouldn't be in a women's changing room isn't "phobic". But at least you're admitting your true position here, despite trying to present yourself as "gender critical".

It's hilarious that you're complaining about ideological purity when you're going around metaphorically decapitating people for using the odd word that has been declared unatterable by those who believe they should be in control of society.

They're easily found. But used to pejoratively described people from Pakistan and China.

You may think these are acceptable - but you would be in a minority.

She asked a colleague/friend about how she coped with having gay relatives because she herself was devastated with her daughter coming out as gay. That is homophobic. You cope with something bad.

The lengths some go to on here to defend a racist homophobe all because she hates trans people is frankly astounding.

If a trans person did half of what Sandie did - you'd all be demanding prison!

Describing a trans person as 'weirdo' and 'it' is transphobic. Hope this helps.

Of course she did. She targeted a member of staff who belonged to a minority, was horribly bullying towards her and made her life hell.

SP's a proven racist and widely disliked by her colleagues, so who would ever want her treating patients? Totally unprofessional behaviour.

She asked a man to leave the female changing rooms.

Thats it.

Yes.

Plus we dont yet know if an appeal may be forthcoming.

I look forward to the new suffrage lanyards going on sale on the online RCN tatt shop.

MintBird · Yesterday 18:23

Did she tell any of her "jokes" to the court?

www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/politics/scottish-politics/5297419/sandie-peggie-nhs-fife-flood-victims-racist-posts/

So we have Stephen Yaxley-Lennon ("Tommy Robinson") convicted (again), KJK charged, far-right activists fined (with the fine going to a migrant charity) in France and sent back to Britain with a ban, now this. The past couple of weeks just keeps giving.

Iamnotalemming · Yesterday 18:23

Regardless of the outcome, the case showed quite how fecking useless the RCN is at protecting its members' interests. I'm grateful to Sandie for putting herself in the spotlight again in the interests of exposing this.

Even the most racist person in racist land deserves to get changed without the presence of a man. And men still can’t become women.
