More surrogacy horrors

So a couple were able to buy 20 babies through surrogacy and abuse them.
I have no words to accurately describe the depths of depravity that we as a society have reached when we allow people to buy as many children as they want (buying even 1 child is wrong but this is a whole different level of wrong).

The more that is exposed about this human trafficking scandal called surrogacy, , the worse it gets.

I heard about this last year after the initial reports but it’s just horrendous.

Just linking the other recent thread showing that in the UK there are zero consequences for men illegally buying babies - or indeed 70 year old women doing the same - as recent cases shows.

Decades ago it started with heartwarming stories of one sister volunteering to be a surrogate to support her sister achieving her hearts desire of becoming a mother… to this…? Surely it’s now at a point where surrogacy needs to be made illegal. How many more babies will be harmed before enough is enough in treating a baby as nothing more than a commodity.
