There's been a spate of threads recently about things JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on. Wouldn't it be easier to put them all in a single thread?

I'll start.

JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on the Manchester City fraud scandal.

Oh do give it a rest. I wrote a post saying that I was sorry for your experiences but they dont cancel out my experience as a survivor, my consent and my boundaries.

Sorry enough to start tagging me in posts about rape several days later? You absolute danger.

You can’t answer. You can’t answer why your silly ideology is more important than the rights of other rape survivors, most of whom don’t want fucking men in female spaces. Of course you can’t, it makes you sound awful.

YOU are a threat to women. Tagging someone you have just shared you already KNEW had experienced rape in a post about rape days after they last engaged with you is unhinged.

Yes that’s me too, I’ve also experienced rape. If you make a claim that you think your position is morally superior to other survivors because you are happy to accept men as women, you’re clearly going to get some pushback. How about you back off and stop saying there’s a right and a wrong way to process male violence?

I don’t tag people in posts about rape who aren’t even talking to me and haven’t been for DAYS, because I understand that people who have experienced trauma might not want it just SPRINGING on them at any moment. You’re really ignorant and selfish. Go away.

You posted on the thread, there’s no rule that people can’t comment days later, apart from in your made up rule book. I took exception to what you posted. Your position is the morally indefensible one.

“Trans women” are men, and have no business being in women’s spaces. If you don’t like that, take it up with the Supreme Court.

You weren’t tagged in a post. And @Ereshkigalangcleg initially quoted her own post so you wouldn’t have received a notification. You appear to have checked back purely for the purpose of being offended. (And make some snarky comment about ‘the joke’)

And thankfully this topic is something JK Rowling has commented on at length. She’s fucking awesome.

Do you mean when two people made tasteless remarks, referencing another thread, in the early hours of Saturday morning, which were taken down? Or is this more recent crusade you’re on?

Cadbury’s chocolate has been rubbish since Mondelez took it over. That was in 2010, so she has had plenty of time to speak up. But no, not a word. Does she not care???

She’s a big girl who can look after herself, and I’m not entirely convinced it’s her that’s embarrassing herself. You seemed to have spent several posts accusing someone of saying something she didn’t.

Alas, JK Rowling has shamefully failed to apologise for the lack of comprehension skills demonstrated by far too many of the English speaking public. I blame her for the unprecedented global drop in reading, math, science.
