Russell T Davies says I called him "a paedophile and a groomer" in this. It's a lie. I did call him a groomer, because he used Doctor Who to push gender ideology, in which no child would believe unless an adult had planted it in his or her head.

And I just find it disingenuous from him. It's no secret I don't love his decent into more, let's call it, aggressive strategies on social media, but they are now coming home to roost and won't be good for any of us.

The word Groomer has a very specific history when it comes to CSA so to use it as often as he (and other) do and then claim you don't mean it in the very well accepted way is always meant just doesn't sit right with me.

Is there a term we can use that isn't sp precariously close to slandering someone as a Child sex abuser?

Here is the article he is referring to in the tweet

‘One person turned up at my house’: Russell T Davies on fierce fandom, finding love after grief - and the fear that drives him to keep a knife by the door

He’s the titan of TV who revived a flatlined Doctor Who and turned British queer life into jaw-dropping drama. But the screenwriter’s groundbreaking writing has sometimes made him a target of hate – from homophobes and Whovians alike

Individual agency is exactly what men would say when they want to ignore safeguarding.

Um, trans men are natal females which might be a tad inconvenient to this trans predatory anti 'safe guarding' narrative,

Datun · 05/10/2026 08:50

It is vague unless the biological framework is stipulated scientifically speaking.

this is genuinely very funny.

I don't think there's a duh loud enough. Volumetrically speaking.

Haha - trans people will be outed by using gender neutral toilets that are absolutely everywhere.

it's like Schrödingers toilet. Everywhere, and yet nowhere

You obviously don't use public toilets much. Yes they are everywhere but they are limited in numbers hence the massive cues in the ladies.

I'm sure there's nothing you like more than picking up on a cue in the ladies 😁

Apart from the fact there aren't as many that make them easily accessible, being 'outed' is a privacy concern.

Are you saying only 'Trans' people would use them unless none others were available? Is there a reason for that?

Social contagion is just a theory that has yet to be proven which increased trans visibility could just as easily be explained by increased social acceptance.

At the end of the day either way there is no causal evidence yet to explain trans identification so perhaps arm chair 'experts' & their emotional 'groomer theory' ought ssit this one out.

Many people working in this field with children were absolutely asking questions about the thousands of percentage increase in trans identifying girls presenting at gender clinics from 2015 or so.

Teenage girls plus online communities are a perfect recipe for social contagion. This is a well known phenomenon.

If these levels reflect the innate levels of “trans” in the population, where are the thousands of older women coming out as trans men now that it is more “socially acceptable “?

Nowhere.

Because there is massive social contagion amongst girls in particular, and amongst lonely kids with ASD getting together online.

There are massive cues in the ladies, thats part of why men who use them like it in there.

And no its not contradictory because the contextual frame work distinguishes reproductive sex from sex traits..

What on earth is a ‘biological framework’? And it’s seemingly relevant ‘contextual framework’ which distinguishes reproductive sex (is there any other kind) from sex traits.

Pingponghavoc · 05/10/2026 08:46

Age and sex are crucial for safeguarding.

You are saying that adult men should not be outed as male.

How are you squaring that with safeguarding?

In all my years using the ladies loos I never detected a 'safe guarding' issue (other than natal women peeing all over the toilet seat from refusing to place their rear end on it) from trans women that's why this has probably never been an issue til the trans panic.

Oh god. Don’t ask. We’ll get 15 pages of bollocks.

The onus for burden of proof is on those making the claim (for obvious reasons) which they have yet to prove.

It’s pretty much proved with the ENORMOUS and sudden change in profile amongst children arriving at gender clinics. Away from a few young boys and no girls to vast majority teenaged girls.

You probably need to ask a population level medical /sociological expert.

Man doesn't detect frisson in room where he's the only male.

Women who tell children that they are male are still lying to children and confusing them about sex.

Its all a safeguarding risk.

Do you understand safeguarding? Do you agree it with it?

Shedmistress · 05/10/2026 08:59

I don't know about the rest of you here but I'm taking my Biological Framework up to my shed to do some pottering today.

Where are you taking your Biological Framework today? Anywhere exciting?

NotBadConsidering · 05/10/2026 09:01

I think the Dutch clinicians and early pioneers of treating children deserve a lot of scrutiny for grooming. They put it out there that hormone treatments were good before they even published the paper of their research, and allowed it to continue despite the weakness of their research. They then doubled down on it as a treatment pathway to protect their own reputations despite it becoming clear it was a poor option. They groomed the rest of the world’s paediatric gender clinics into thinking treating children early with hormones brought success.

Don't forget to stipulate it as you go. Scientifikally speaking.

Mind you don't damage it tho. use gloves maybe?

To save you the trouble of dealing with these nonsense arguments about “feminine behaviours” you can read all of HowseitChopping’s previous arguments on the thread previously:

I think my response was perfect in giving it as much creditability as the comment deserved.

Natal females develop earlier & pay less of a social cost for coming out trans than natal males for obvious misogynistic reasons that's concluded why studies show natal males tend to 'come out' more in their post school years & females earlier.

I have SO many gloves. For the lightest touch to the heaviest hand getting very hot pottery out of a kiln. From delicate feminine fig gathering to hardcore masculine Raku firing.

I'm non binary me.

Something like banning all muslims because a few might be terrorists? Sure I get that bogus logic.

But you don't really believe in safe guarding because if you did you wouldn't be limiting this impractical logic to just toilets but anywhere where men pose a real substantial risk to women including the workplace, educational settings dating & so on.

Or is this regression to Victorian standards what GC's really want hence the GC alignment with the far right on single sex spaces? At leat the far right are honest about it.
