Russell T Davies says I called him "a paedophile and a groomer" in this. It's a lie. I did call him a groomer, because he used Doctor Who to push gender ideology, in which no child would believe unless an adult had planted it in his or her head.

And I just find it disingenuous from him. It's no secret I don't love his decent into more, let's call it, aggressive strategies on social media, but they are now coming home to roost and won't be good for any of us.

The word Groomer has a very specific history when it comes to CSA so to use it as often as he (and other) do and then claim you don't mean it in the very well accepted way is always meant just doesn't sit right with me.

Is there a term we can use that isn't sp precariously close to slandering someone as a Child sex abuser?

Here is the article he is referring to in the tweet

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2026/oct/03/russell-t-davies-interview-doctor-who-fierce-fandom-love-grief

‘One person turned up at my house’: Russell T Davies on fierce fandom, finding love after grief - and the fear that drives him to keep a knife by the door

He’s the titan of TV who revived a flatlined Doctor Who and turned British queer life into jaw-dropping drama. But the screenwriter’s groundbreaking writing has sometimes made him a target of hate – from homophobes and Whovians alike

Why do they want to use women's toilets snd changing rooms? It is known that these a justify on the bases on sex and designed for only one sex to use.

Gender neutral toilets are ubiquitous in modern western society & have been for decades on airlines, restaurants, cafes bars AND in peoples on homes so having them separated is clearly more about functional practicalities & logistics than anything else.

I specifically said there's no causal evidence yet & as such we can't rule biological influences out.

What we do know however is that hormones, genes & evolutionary pressures influence behaviour that combined with social categorisations create gender categories that logically would influence gender identification.

Nope you claimed that theres a link so prove it
Men and women are biologically different hence men can never be women
I note that you still haven't given a definition of gender identity that doesn't rely on stereotypes or a gendered soul yet

India Willoughby literally says he is a Biological Woman.

'Biological' woman can mean female reproductive traits or female sex traits like morphology, hormones or genes so its a vague term where the scientific distinction is relevant.

Deliberately. It's how those of us who play the chronophoto game guess dates based on shoe style or hat shape. We don't all wake up one morning and spontaneously decide that the next trousers we buy will have a different cut from the last pair. The advertisers groom us on behalf of their clients.

If gender neutral toilets are everywhere, why do adult males want to use female spaces?

I think we’ll probably have to agree to disagree on that @IrishScotch. There’s evidence that gender divergent people have existed across the world, and throughout history.

There’s a lot of scientific agreement/ consensus - major medical and scientific organisations recognise that transgender people exist, and research shows that gender identity has real biological, genetic, and neurological foundations. The world health organisation’s position is that a person's internal sense of gender is a core part of human diversity, not a choice or a mental illness

What’s the evidence you have that nobody is innately trans?

Edited

What is your evidence to say that anyone is, in any real diagnosable sense, “born with a female brain in a male body”?

Or whatever your definition of “being trans” is.

From everything I have read written by psychiatrists working in the field, it is a wide ranging identity, adopted/arrived at for many different reasons. Gender dysphoria is a symptom only and not universal.

  1. Homosexual men who are also very “feminine” in presentation feeling life would be easier if they were women.
  2. Men with a sexual fetish for dressing as female (transvestites)
  3. Men with a sexual fetish about imagining themselves in a female body (autogynephiles) often porn driven.
  4. Autism and black and white thinking. “If I don’t fit in with my same-sex peers maybe I am the opposite sex.”
  5. Girls identifying out of becoming adult females because of autism, or fear of adult sexuality (and pornified expectations), or bad experience of male sexual attention or abuse, or just the loss of childhood freedom that comes with periods and breasts.
  6. Girls who are gay.
  7. Girls who have been allowed to think that the only correct way to be a woman is to like pink, spend ages on appearance, make up, high heels, give up maths, football, climbing trees, flat shoes etc. Frequently with autism overlap.

What it isn’t is a single, simple phenomenon.

Every single trans identified person I know personally has been a young person 18-23 who has had difficulty fitting in due to ASD or ADHD. Every single one was vulnerable in some way, and remained so after announcing pronouns and name changes and starting hormones. It did not seem to improve their functioning in life, or make them happier (apart from giving them a tribe to belong to) but sometimes made them more rigid in their thinking.

Transition does not help everyone, particularly as it involves the constant stress of trying to deceive those around them.

That’s before we start on the effects of cross sex hormones, especially the effect of testosterone on the female pelvic floor.

Calling all these things “trans” is simplistic.

Cailleach1 · 05/10/2026 08:35

‘Dr. Who the tv show can't on its own groom children. It's like back in the day when people believed Brittney Spears was grooming their daughters into whores.’

Wow, Op @RobynMiller . Do you have any daughters, or nieces? I think most people would probably say that it would be inappropriate, over sexualisation of young girls (esp with school uniform), and of Britney herself. The machines of the music and film industries do not exist for the benefit of their artists. They make money off their backs. So, I would more say that Britney herself was encouraged, directed, groomed, to perform like this.

I suspect there are certain strata who think of young girls as ‘whores’, as you charmingly put it, rather than inappropriately oversexualised. Maybe those with an extra sexual kink, or fetish. Or misogynistic ideologies/religious perspectives. Or just those who disregard the way society influences, and uses young girls.

It's not….by conservative monkey see monkey do 'logic' that denies individual agency.

The ironical part is the monumental lack of self awareness for the gender critical movement to define themselves as feminists. The idea of a women's rights movement that doesn't believe in individual agency particularly of women is …..bonkers.

But it cannot mean 'biological man'. It is not vague in any way.

Which is counter to the point you made which was that trans people use the word trans to distinguish themselves from people that actually ARE the sex that the trans person is trying to say they are.

Apart from the fact there aren't as many that make them easily accessible, being 'outed' is a privacy concern.

Pingponghavoc · 05/10/2026 08:43

Individual agency is exactly what men would say when they want to ignore safeguarding.

Datun · 05/10/2026 08:43

Haha - trans people will be outed by using gender neutral toilets that are absolutely everywhere.

it's like Schrödingers toilet. Everywhere, and yet nowhere

Age and sex are crucial for safeguarding.

You are saying that adult men should not be outed as male.

How are you squaring that with safeguarding?

It is vague unless the biological framework is stipulated scientifically speaking.

And no its not contradictory because the contextual frame work distinguishes reproductive sex from sex traits..
