I'm (even more) glad that you wrote that, because I couldn't remember being mentioned in the Gosie stories. If I had forgotten something of such significance then I'm racing towards old-age-decline faster than I thought.

I tested MN's Advanced Search buttons as best I could, and - although I couldn't find anything relevant to me and to France - I was reminded of many happy events here in The Bluestocking.

But I hadn't forgotten! Hurray and much rejoicing!

I agree that AI most probably just picked up on who'd started the most recent threads - that's what I had imagined, anyway.
