BBC Crime Report Avoids Pronouns of Perpetrator

Not sure if anyone has already see this.

BBC reporting the violent crime committed by a man who is calling himself a woman.

They manage not to use pronouns at all.

I suppose that is marginally better reporting.

Terrible crime, yet more violence towards women.

I wouldnt have an issue with that article. He is named over and over again.

He's usually named by his surname though. I mean, it's an improvement that they don't use "she".

Ugh.

'Formally known as Sean'.

His sex is clearly relevant to the crime, but that is the closest they get to indicating that he is a man.
