But why aren’t BBC making clear he is a man? It’s not a woman making these comments, its another example of male aggression directed at a woman.

Forester1 · Today 13:15

Yes should be made clear in the article

Rightsraptor · Today 13:16

He's 50? Obviously ever grew up.

Good news though.

HappilyHarriet · Today 13:18

Good.

MimiGC · Today 13:19

The BBC report doesn’t say what the charge is.

spannasaurus · Today 13:20

As much as I like the thought that this vile man has been charged I don't believe that his disgusting tweet is a criminal matter.

TeaAndStrumpets · Today 13:20

Oh good. Serves him right.

tramtracks · Today 13:22

Good. Definitely about time.

sunnydayyzz · Today 13:26

Just seen the tweet. What a vile bloke, I hope he's fired.

KittyWilkinson · Today 13:28

Can anyone clarify the actual charge? I've been looking but can't find anything specific.

ItsCoolForCats · Today 13:29

Is there more to this than we realise? Possible links to Bash Back? If the police initially decided there was no criminality, what has changed? If it is because of support for Bash Back, then I'm glad the police are taking it seriously. TRAs have been threatening violence towards women for years with impunity..

He does have links to them, and it's been pointed out by multiple people that he seemed to know her death was murder before it was officially announced.

Not sure how true that is.

Good, this eejit has form….this is the trans activist who posted pictures of themselves using the floor of a disabled toilet in gatwick airport to self dilate following penis removal?

not sure of this came before or after the standing for Labour, then the Greens then shifting to Aberdeen uni in search of any kind of taxpayer funded grift….

Here he is making a tit of things on the news…..

It did occur to me that maybe he has been charged because of different posts to the Ann Widdecombe one. Other posts may have been inciting violence.

The news reports imply that he has been charged over the AW post but it's possible that may not be the case

I doubt HH is some terrorist mastermind. He is a moron though. And these men have been getting away with making threats for too long, so it is good to see this come back to bite them

BoreOfWhabylon · Today 13:39

Oh dear. What a pity. Never mind.
I wonder how Sophie Molly is taking this sad, sad news.

TheGospelAccordingToMe · Today 13:39

Are the Scots in charge finally learning what a woman is?

As far as i understand the procurator Fiscal will decide on the charge

Tbf, you don't have to be a mastermind to be a nasty piece of work.

Poor Heather. It must be hard seeing the consequences of your actions coming back to slap you in the face.

As transactivists have spent so much time reporting women for speaking about facts, science, reality and the law to the police, it's heartening to see the police finally arrest a man for such appalling, offensve, online comments.

I'll leave it to others to decide to what extent his speech should be policed. Just pleased to see a rare occasion where a transactiovist is challenged for such hateful comments.

PriOn1 · Today 13:50

Because it’s the BBC.

The Mail uses female pronouns as well. Thought they’d know better. The BBC avoided pronouns altogether, which is better, in my opinion.
