Gosh they're getting desperate these days aren't they? The more society returns to common sense, the wilder their claims of persecution become.

If you don't know who this one is, he's the 'academic' who played on a university hockey team with young women and then threatened to sue when rules were rightfully changed to exclude abusive men like him.

I'm not sure this is correct. 'Trans' in scientific terms means 'across'. It is usually used to refer to the molecular structure of fats, where the position of the hydrogen atoms sits with the double carbon bond.

If you refer to a man as a woman, as in 'transwoman', the fact that you're already referring to a man as a woman is using the 'across'. So using transwoman is essentially saying 'across across man', which is silly.

There is no biological change when a man decides they'd prefer to be seen and recognised as a woman, so they are simply changing their identity as they see it, and hope others will see it. Therefore, 'trans-identifying' is correct to describe their intention, and man is the correct sex identifier.

Years of hormone therapy (cross-sex hormones) do not result in anyone changing their sex. For a human to actually change sex, they would need to go through a natural metamorphosis (no exogenous hormones or surgery) to stop producing one gamete type, to then be able to produce the other gamete type.

If this ever actually happens, @MashaPavI will accept that they have genuinely changed sex.

These TRAs are either a man or a woman. Being trans means that person is one sex and believes they are morphing into another. So they are just male or female at birth. Everything else is fantasy.

If they believe they are women, let them call themselves that and leave the trans word out of it. We know they are not women anyway so they can live in their own deluded world. Trans has no meaning other than a desire to be another sex. Therefore trans suggests they are not female having had to transition from one sex to another in their eyes.

We know sex is biological, always was and always will be.

They are floundering at last. The trans era is coming to an end. It will take a while, but it is no longer the force it once thought it was.

But back to Saunders. He’s a nasty, creepy bloke who has been spreading his nonsense for years. No doubt the young women in Nottingham have felt coerced into pretending they are comfortable with him in their team and spaces. I’m sure some have swallowed the kool-aid but I’m also sure that there will be some young women who have found excuses to give up their hockey because of this selfish individual.

England hockey were entirely beee kind until eventually forced into complying with the equality act so yes any of those young women would have found expressing the view that Rachel was a man, very difficult

generally teams that complained about women's sides fielding TW were given the choice of playing or forfeiting therefore losing points

the really bloody annoying thing is that hockey already has an official mixed version so it's nothing to do with wanting to play & everything to do with only wanting the validation of playing with women

'Trans identitying' is an inclusive term that does not assume that all people who identify as trans identify as the opposite sex. It also includes people who are gender fluid.

Congratulations on being the only known woman in the universe who thinks calling yourself cis is going to endear you to gender critical women, who have used the word woman for many hundreds of years, and understood that it means an adult human female, without having to tag on a prefix.

I use the term Trans identifying man , TIM ( and TIW for balance) , because, thanks to the very successful Stonewall brainwashing of large numbers of the population some people are still confused and think that if you use the word woman, as in transwoman, to describe someone then it is because they are a woman. Nope. Using TIM makes it very clear that while someone may identify as trans and call themselves a transwoman they are still, and forever more will be , male. And of course that a transman is still and will forever more be, a woman.

So much of the language women use about ourselves, and the language that we use to describe our bodies and our biology has been stolen from us or mangled into hate speech or clumsy word salad that I think it is important to start claiming language back and making clear that we are not letting go of our identity by losing our words.

They're blokes. Blokes with female hormones pumped into them, blokes with breasts, sometimes even blokes with mutilated genitals that look like crude approximations of females genitalia, but at the end of the day, even after all that, they're still blokes.

Which makes "Trans Identified Males" much more accurate language than "transwoman" (with or without the pissing space.)

Oddly enough, that description fits their beloved Magnus Hirschfeld who was initially, though perhaps not later, in favour of eugenics.. Prior to WWII, the idea of eugenics had a lot of support, even among some who later became victims of its implementation by the Nazis. At a time of limited medical knowledge & treatments, eugenics was seen as offering hope that heritable illnesses could be eradicated & positive human attributes amplified.

Back to the subject in hand, I'm not remotely surprised that a TRA is throwing accusations of eugenics around, it's tied into the whole idea that anything gender critical is far-right and therefore fascism, fascism = nazism and thus trans people being denied the 'healthcare' they demand is eugenics because that's what the nazis did.

It's tedious nonsense and it's factually incorrect (having failed to understand, wilfully or otherwise, what 'far right', 'fascism' or 'eugenics' actually mean), but it's also showing men like 'Rachel' for what they are - men who are having a tantrum when women say no and they aren't getting what they want.

Weird the 'trans' loving Green party started out as a party that thought the world was overcrowded and campaigned for an 'enforced sterilisation' programme. Now they're allegedly the poster party for the progressive left, I wonder how buried the eugenics ethic is buried and will it resurface if they were to get into power. 🤔
