This never happens: Transgender woman masturbated in front of hospital nurses

Apparently staff could see that "she had her penis in her hand and that her hand was moving up and down."

The fact that a barrister can say these words, and a journalist can reproduce them, apparently without any sense of shame, is extraordinary.

One thing puzzles me about this thread and no, it isn't the sex of the patient. Where are the TRA who come to scold us? Where are their pious handmaidens? Oh come on, I implore you, come and persuade us that tw only wanna pee and that they are charming and utterly harmless. You don't even have to take off you balaclavas.

This is a very good question!

Oh there's one on the push/pull thread scolding me and others. Apparently this man doesn't deserve to be called she but the rest do. Apparently behaviour rather than reality is the decider. Absolutely bonkers.

Oh, I see, so, we accept all TiMs into our spaces and then filter them out one by one when they abuse their ‘pass’. Got it.

Except where is the line drawn between acceptable and unacceptable behaviour, and who decides where that line is?

Here's a novel idea - why don't we just say 'no men in women's spaces' and be done with it?

loislovesstewie · 17/06/2026 07:44

I've been having a bit of an argument on another social media platform about all of this. Apparently I'm not allowed to say anything about men being in women's spaces, it doesn't affect me at all I'm told, they are all harmless. Nothing is taken from me because a man thinks he is a woman. I'm totally unreasonable for wanting female spaces for females. Oh and apparently I should educate myself about HRT, as I'm post menopausal, I think I know. 😕

The fact that a barrister can say these words, and a journalist can reproduce them, apparently without any sense of shame, is extraordinary.

That’s how court reporting works. It’s very restricted - not at all like the States or what you see on TV. You can only report on what happens that day, and you have to report what was actually said in court - no analysis.

It’s down to the legal system which enforces it. It’s so wrong that we’re at this point.

I'm coming round to the idea that reporting of such events without clarification is entirely intentional. It's very effective in getting readers to draw their own conclusion.

Large unflattering photo at the top of the report
Use of wrong-sex pronouns
Readers think "that's not a woman!"

(not including the BBC in this, of course. Their reporting is just wrong)

If I were a secret TERF working on a news desk somewhere, I would be reporting this story EXACTLY as it has been reported. I would be following the style guide to the letter.

I completely understand the objections to reporting men's crimes as women's but when there is a photo like the one of this guy then tbh I'm all for it. If it was reported as "man who dresses up as a woman commits sex crime", that allows TRAs a get out, an opportunity to say "this is not a trans woman!"

This story as it is is just wonderful. I've seen it pop up several times on Facebook from various news outlets and the comments are glorious.

I have to say it's getting harder to tell.

Sometimes it's obvious, but I would never have guessed this wasn't a woman.

Are you sure he’s not a woman? He looks a very lovely womanly to me. Those long blond locks, the stubble, the womanly jaw… “Paula” is literally drop dead gorgeous.

AlexaAdventuress · 17/06/2026 11:41

Not to mention 'stunning and brave' too!

I agree. I used to think "her penis" was a nonsensical phrase insulting to women. But using female pronouns makes so much difference. Male pronouns would lead people to think, "Yeah, man commits sexual offence, as per usual, wonder why he's wearing a wig." The female pronouns make people think, "Man commits sexual offence while claiming to actually be a woman, WTF? Does he believe that? Is he deranged as well as perverted? And the bad wig is fooling no-one." The pronouns are an example of "Let them speak."

Not to mention the fact that it makes it very easy to do a google search for similar stories, of which there are an extraordinary number... I just tried it on google and got nearly 1.5million results - not all crimes. One of the first results was a Reddit thread entitled "Five-year-old telling friends about her penis". I won't bother linking, I'm sure you can guess what craziness ensues.

GreyskySexRealistsky · 17/06/2026 11:47

Yes, I really feel some local journalists are doing us a huge favour here.
No one is going to believe that person in the photo is a woman. Not even TRAs.
But he says he is, so.....

There's one of them over in the Orienteering thread telling everyone that "you all suck" and using nonsense whataboutery to scold posters, some of whom are posting really interesting insights into orienteering (it's making me want to look into trying it!), and they are coming over as a bit...confused tbh. Interesting that is the thread they are choosing to plop on and not this one! Wonder why eh?! 🤔

Someone lost their grown up words there.... I'm still inwardly chuckling at the one who tried 'I see that makes you feel sad' in a really good imitation of their primary school teacher.
