New thread. You know the deal - women's pub, men to the Staunch Ally next door.

Some of us are currently on the trail of an international seed smuggling ring, just for background information.

My cats are candy-themed. They are tabby sisters and the brave and friendly one is called Reese, because her colours are like Reese’s peanut butter cups. She is strongly bonded to DH and merely tolerates me. Her sister is Skittles because she is highly nervous and skittish. She is bonded, insofar as she is to anybody, to me, an affection she generally demonstrates by fervent licking that soon becomes a bite. I’m not entirely sure what I get out of this relationship.

No-one noticed that Boily had slipped away.

And...

... shortly afterwards, what looked suspiciously like an entirely separate lunch...

are obviously not related in any way.

You get the honour of being their slave, clearly.

Of course! Silly me.

I used to know a Russian Blue called Pusskin.

I love all your cat stories and cat names, and they are keeping me entertained while waiting for the Gosie Dénoumement 🙃
Boily - your cat's name is wonderful, and I bet she would like you to use it in full every time you address her, and only permits abbreviations because she knows you are a mere human, and allowances have to be made for the limited abilities of that inferior speciesGrin

I had hoped to post another episode earlier this evening. However I have spent three hours wrestling with 350 words and the end result is I need to rewrite the ending to bring back those on The Dreadnork.

So it will be the morning.

but we are near the end.

And I’m telling you this so you can prepare yourselves.

How long do you want to wait between the end of The Gosie Chronicles Vol I, and the beginning of The Gosie Chronicles Vol II?

You have done a brilliant job and personally I would like to see another episode but imagine that both you and Gosie need a break.

I believe She would prefer me to use her full name. She certainly announces herself in full every time she enters a room. Sometimes she loses track half way though and has to begin again.

It's such fun 😶

In the interests of equality I've asked boy cat what his full name is. Thankfully his parents were slightly more restrained than girl cats.

Dave, Son of Tiddles, Occasional Sitter of the Middle Step, Keeper of the Room Temperature Water Bowl, Unremarked‑Upon Resident of the Spare room, Occasional User of the Beige Blanket, He Who Once Saw a Pigeon and Didn’t React, and Custodian of the high high touching the ceiling high cupboard.

Which explains why he doesn't go on for as long on entering a room.
