How many councillors has Reform UK lost since the May 2026 elections?

Given how popular (and lengthy!) the list of Reform councillor departures after the May 2025 elections turned out to be, here is a new list, this time for councillors elected under the Reform banner on 7 May 2026, or in by-elections after that date, who have already departed the party for one reason or another.

Reform councillors kicked out for racism.
My irony meter just exploded

Probably quite a lot. Kent has lost a few. Some due to actual internal fighting.

https://www.lbc.co.uk/article/four-reform-councillors-suspended-farage-party-election-5HjdYyG_2/

Article from tonight. Only a few days in and four suspended so far with one sharing a Social Media post depicting a b*mb being dropped on Mecca.

As I said in another politics thread the party is straight up racism and "patriotism" and "illegal immigration" is just a cover.

I expect there will be many, many more to come. They can't keep their racism contained and they will keep sharing or replying in agreement to violent and racist posts they come across online.

Fourth newly appointed Reform UK councillor suspended from party days after being elected | LBC

Cllrs Ashley Monk and Jo Monk were suspended for "refusing to accept the democratic decision of the Reform UK group" - as the former hit out at Nigel Farage.

That's what the link is for in the OP.

Somebody has been, as he did last year, keeping a record.

So no speculation needed.

Just click and you will know!

As already said it is in the OP!

And the point of the link in the OP is that it will be updated, as happened last year.

That is the point of the OP!

Well not really. This is a discussion forum and people in good faith are answering the question posed in your title with their opinion. You could have put the heading “here’s the link to keep tabs on Reform councillors who step down after election”.

The other issue is the number of paper candidates- barely anyone had written a speil about their aims in my ward. Greens and reform alike. And now have to actually do the job!

some will quit or not last the distance

Could you set your rules for posting on your threads clearly in the OP please?

Well, posting in the correct forum wasn't a rule

I'm just pointing out that if there is a link with the info you are interested in it why not go and have a look.

It isn't about rules but the function of an OP.

Why wouldn't you bother to do that?

Yes, this is going to cause some pretty quick re-elections for a range of seats. There were also a few Greens who were suspended for antisemitism just before winning their seats, so not sure if they now stand as independents?

There’s a man who was elected for two different councils? Like, how? Didnt anyone notice before the election? 😵‍💫.
