Given how popular (and lengthy!) the list of Reform councillor departures after the May 2025 elections turned out to be, here is a new list, this time for councillors elected under the Reform banner on 7 May 2026, or in by-elections after that date, who have already departed the party for one reason or another.

Article from tonight. Only a few days in and four suspended so far with one sharing a Social Media post depicting a b*mb being dropped on Mecca.

As I said in another politics thread the party is straight up racism and "patriotism" and "illegal immigration" is just a cover.

I expect there will be many, many more to come. They can't keep their racism contained and they will keep sharing or replying in agreement to violent and racist posts they come across online.

Well not really. This is a discussion forum and people in good faith are answering the question posed in your title with their opinion. You could have put the heading “here’s the link to keep tabs on Reform councillors who step down after election”.

The other issue is the number of paper candidates- barely anyone had written a speil about their aims in my ward. Greens and reform alike. And now have to actually do the job!

Yes, this is going to cause some pretty quick re-elections for a range of seats. There were also a few Greens who were suspended for antisemitism just before winning their seats, so not sure if they now stand as independents?

This one is Glenn Gibbons the Reform councillor voted in in Sunderland who violently wanted Nigerians to be "melted down and used to fill potholes".

As Geordies may vouch the people of Sunderland aren't known for making the most intelligent decisions...

Here's another. This one shared Nazis swastikas, suggested the UK has a "subhuman underclass", and blamed Jewish people for anti-Semitism.

He denied being anti-semitic or pro-Nazi saying he "enjoys risky humour and pushing boundaries". He admits he "flirts" with far-right ideology.

A council has confirmed there will be a by-election after a Reform UK councillor who posted a "defamatory" social media message about a Conservative candidate was found guilty of breaking electoral law.

He was convicted of making or publishing a false statement under the Representation of the People Act 1983 at Westminster Magistrates' Court last month.

It's easy to see why women under 50 are overwhelmingly voting Greens and avoiding Reform like the plague. It's clearly a "boy's club" for the older generations where they spend a lot of time in the pub and tell rapey and racist jokes to each other.

Ken Tranter hasn't been suspended but he faced backlash after complaining about "non-white people" being in a park.

So it isn't even about illegal immigration to many of them, it's just about skin colour huh? Too bad if British-born people with brown skin wanted to go to the park in his area.

Where are the police in all of this? If the average person openly spouted calls for racist violence they would quite rightly be arrested and charged. I can only presume the police are full of Reform voters as they seem to be choosing to look the other way.
