I think this is really poor. It seems to go well beyond their original remit.
They seem to have turned themselves into a ranty uni-soc type of outfit.

I wonder how JKR will respond, if she does.

A friend saw one of those ‘a transperson peed here and no one died’ type stickers a while ago. Someone had stuck it in the stairwell of a multi story car park!

He's either been driven completely mad by her laughing at him (for his statements about how he rejected her friendship due to her views and then it turned out his perception of "friendship" was an x at the end of a message), or he's desperately goading her for attention and/or to be able to present himself as David being picked on by the big mean Goliath.

It must realllly grate that she laughs from her yacht as he loses case after case while rattling his begging bowl.

Gilderoy Lockheart instantly sprang to mind..

“Gilderoy Lockhart” is actually an anagram of “I am the Fox Botherer”. No joke.

'A man asserted dominance and marked his territory here and nobody died'

I’m tempted to buy some so no-one can say they didn’t get distributed. It would be a fun curiosity, coming to Flog It! In a decade. It would be a bit like adopting the dinosaur

I like the idea of buying some of those and seeing what's the most ridiculous place I can put them - up a tree, top of a bookshelf, stuck to a magazine in Smiths...Grin

'A man asserted dominance and marked his territory here and nobody died'

For the ladies' loos "A transwoman peed here, and women's belief that society genuinely sees us and respects us as complete humans in our own right died a tiny bit more. He didn't notice."

Amen.

It's as barking as when someone says they let men into the women's facilities because 'they're inclusive'.

'Yipee, that's great! It's lovely that you value inclusion! Now where do you include women who cannot use mixed sex spaces? Where's the facility they can use for their accessibility and inclusion please? ..... you're looking blank. You had realised that 'inclusion' doesn't just mean men with trans identities doing wherever they want?'

They don’t need the facility because they’ve been sent for compulsory trauma reframing.

sanctuaryy · Yesterday 12:33

Actually this would be great because he'd have to prove she was actually saying transphobic things. Not sure how he could that.

She said she didn't want men in women's crisis centres.....and started her own and excluded men........ummmm and

I have a very long report that makes clear ‘inclusive’ toilet designs are least bad for healthy men.

That's so funny. A ninja sticker-er could be very effective.

My partner is into parkour. I should try to persuade him to stick some up when he’s out climbing things!

Gross. I saw one in the loo of one of the most 'inclusive' places ever. There was no need because it's the sort of place no one would bat an eyelid anyway.
I did hope the fact they'd still felt a need to mark their territory would give women pause for thought.

Can't we just put the Farage and Jolyon together in a soundproof room, lock the door and throw away the key?

WELCOME TO THE

THUNDERDOME!

GLP has got to make some money somehow...

Yes came on to say this! Winning cases isn't much of a moneyspinner... however I think they should say JKR is a poo-poo head, to be more reflective of GLP's level of debate.

I’ve developed a genuine aversion to the word ‘inclusive’, because the only times I see it used now it means the opposite.

Yes, I feel the same. It's never about being inclusive, it's more about excluding people, usually women, who don't believe what they believe. And doing it "legally " because we're "inclusive."

This has also started to happen with "Good", as in Good Law Project. There was also a "Good" literary agency (it folded) and various other similar things. It means painfully, loudly woke and usually the opposite of inclusive.

UtopiaPlanitia · Today 14:12

I think it's downright creepy that after Jolyon claimed a close friendship with JKR, and was publicly rebuffed by her on his incorrect framing, he starts selling stickers with a defamatory/nasty statement about her.

I don't know what's wrong with the man but he spends so much time actively trying to needle her - it seems obvious that he wants to provoke her into suing him and that he very much wants to promote the (false) idea that he has sadly had to let go their friendship because of his 'high principles'.
