So Alex Stewart has been accused of sexually assaulting a female prisoner in the women's jail hes housed in.

The judge needs to hurry up and order the Scottish government to remove all men from womens prisons

Poor woman. Could she not sue the Scottish Government? Surely this is negligence on their part?

She absolutely should sue. Hopefully Sex Matters or another women's org can support her with this.

I often wonder what happened to the women that Karen White sexually assaulted in Wakefield Prison and whether they ever considered taking legal action. These women have been let down so badly by the authorities.

Also, is it true that Paris Green has been moved from the female estate now? How on earth can the Scottish Government maintain that these men pose no risk to female prisoners and prison guards?

Let’s not forget that he was the man who complained about Jayne Sutherley misgendering him and accused her of a hate crime which led to her being denied parole because of the complaint

At the time of the complain against Sutherley it was known that this man was in a sexual relationship with Nyomi Fee and prone to public sexual acts. The Scottish Government has ignored what has been happening under their noses.

This is awful. I'm glad the BBC is covering it. Still no canvassers at my door yet, but I'll be mentioning this if any SNP candidate/canvasser does appear.

BBC Scotland reporting this lunchtime is being clear that this offender is a "biological male who identifies as a woman" and who was being held in the women's wing of the prison.

I notice that the author avoided all pronouns for him but was up front that he was male and in a female jail.

This shows some progress.

The replies on the Scotland sub reddit were mostly sensible when I looked. The replies on the unitedkingdom sub are overwhelmingly pro TRA bullshit. Even when a male who wants to be a woman does something like this the idiots hold the line. He's just another woman apparently, women assault each other all the time, this is normal, it is outrageous hateful bigotry to focus on his trans status because he is a woman and the fact that he's a male with male strength and male genitalia doesn't mean anything, placing him in that prison was the right choice...

How on earth is this a hill that Scottish politicians are willing to die on.

I commented on that thread replying to someone who defended trans women prisoners but said "maybe there could be a problem, perhaps we should look for data" and my post below was deleted as hate speech!!

125 sex offenders out of 3,812 women in prison = 3.3%

I'm not going to bother appealing as there is no point but wow. I didn't even misgender anyone, it's literally just facts. Inconvenient facts, sure, but still facts.

Sue the bastards for allowing this to happen. The woman are under state duty of care whilst in prison.
