“Sad to see news orgs and the UK State now using “biological sex” - a term coined by the Religious Right Transgender Critical movement, with no standing whatsoever in medicine”

Make it make sense people.
Please.

You bigot!

Joking. FFS, it really has gone beyond the ridiculous. What does India think sex is if not biological? (It's all about the lady-feels, obvs.)

Aargh, it's just unbearable.

ncduetooutingsituation · 29/03/2026 18:39

He’s an insufferable twat of a man.

Unfortunately the ridiculous ‘be kind’ movement has made him exceptionally entitled.

It’s probably not easy to find himself in the current hard push back into common sense.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2026 18:41

You’re asking the wrong person to ‘make sense’.

Of course, it shouldn’t be necessary to say ‘biological’ sex, there is no other type - it’s the fault of the relentless onslaught of transactivists on our language that we can’t just say ‘sex’ without someone pretending they don’t know what the word means.

biwr · 29/03/2026 18:42

I was kind of hoping gender criticals invented the term, but I’ve just asked chat GPT and apparently it’s a term used pre 20th century 🤣

What did India try to achieve with all those hormones and surgery if sex isn't a thing? What is India claiming he has transitioned from and to where?

FictionalCharacter · 29/03/2026 18:47

Willoughby fathered a son before becoming "India". There's nothing more biological than sexual reproduction, which requires a biological male and female. He knows that, hence the screeching.

ItsCoolForCats · 29/03/2026 18:51

Men like India can never be women, so their life mission now seems to be to try to undermine the idea that sex is a real, definable thing.

If biological sex is such a nebulous concept, it's a wonder that the human race has managed to survive this long. How do people figure out who the opposite sex is so they can procreate? 🤔

I mean India thinks India has a cervix so nothing from India is ever going to make sense

I don't know what he's claiming, but It appears he's transitioned from a not particularly pleasant man to a lost his cognitive faculties man.

One of the great unanswered questions of our time: what is dark matter? Why is there homochirality in biomolecules? What goes on in India's head?

dapsnotplimsolls · 29/03/2026 19:03

YABU for expecting India to make sense.

India barks at the moon on a regular basis - nothing he says makes sense, there's no point in even trying to understand it.

Spot on! In previous generations he'd have been the crackpot sitting in the corner of the bar ranting away and avoided by the other regulars. The internet has made many wonderful things possible, but it's also given people like Willoughby a platform and an easy way to find others who aren't very bright but think they are and rejoice in being perverse.

I didn’t realise India had studied medicine.
So glad that’s been cleared up.

FranticFrankie · 29/03/2026 22:19

I'm channeling Abraham Lincoln tonight.
Wasn't it he who said "better to be quiet and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubts" ???

MotherofPufflings · 29/03/2026 22:21

But I thought India said that he was a biological woman 🤔

Datun · 29/03/2026 22:21

I knew I remembered Brendan O'Neill sticking it to India Willoughby in one of his more, er, spleenful articles.

I don't think there's a better antidote for TRA induced frustration than this particular offering.

The hilarious meltdown of men who think they’re women

The Supreme Court’s ruling has driven trans activists nuts – and I’m loving it.

NewHandles · 29/03/2026 22:22

what is dark matter?

When I was a lass and it were all green fields round here, the debate was "WIMPs versus MACHOs". *

Which has nothing to do with IW, of course.

*I can remember what one of these stands for but not the other.

I'd forgotten how much I laughed at that the first time round, thanks for reminding me!

A wonderfully written take down.

It's quite the creation, isn't it 😁

He definitely has a way with words. Professor of gibberish is bang on.

AspiringChatBot · 29/03/2026 23:04

It's used traditionally and routinely in US English, including in medical contexts. I wouldn't necessarily expect a xenophobe to consider that before spouting off in bigoted ignorance, I guess.

But I thought India said that he was a biological woman 🤔

I thought that in India's world liking Love Island and meeting "the girls" for coffee automatically made one a woman.

I have no idea what that makes me though, as despite being born biologically female I like neither coffee nor LI and I certainly don't consider myself to be a man 🤔.
