“Sad to see news orgs and the UK State now using “biological sex” - a term coined by the Religious Right Transgender Critical movement, with no standing whatsoever in medicine”

Make it make sense people.
Please.

I mean India thinks India has a cervix so nothing from India is ever going to make sense

Puts a new slant on talking out of your arse, I suppose 😂

Everything he backs turns out to be a very bad optic for him

He said that he had a phobia of drag queens. Had to back track on that.

He said that he was on Donald Trump's side and wanted to put a barbed wire fence in the channel to stop migrants. Had to back track on that.

He said that it was 'definitely' a crime for JKR to call him a man. Had to back track on that.

He said that voting for Labour in the last election was the best choice. Had to back track on that.

Honestly, if ever anyone gets the wrong end of the stick, it's him.

India Willoughby wants a barbed wire fence like Trump

India Willoughby sparked outrage when she claimed we should 'go down the Trump route' in order to stop migrants entering the UK.

Pretty sure he also was against transwomen in female sport.

My theory is he thought he would be the reasonable face of trans on TV. But that didn’t work out for him as he is as lacking in talent as he is a cervix. So as that schtick didn’t work out for him he is now trying to earn money through rage baiting/engagement farming.

He is such a narcissist with a weird obsession with the looks of women. He’s got some nerve criticising anyone woman’s appearance considering he’s no oil panting himself.

2021x · 30/03/2026 00:41

Narcissists are addicted to attention. Starve them of the negative attention and they will soon become a very useful ally.

I agree "Biological sex" is too much. Just say "Sex".

I knew I remembered Brendan O'Neill sticking it to India Willoughby in one of his more, er, spleenful articles.

I don't think there's a better antidote for TRA induced frustration than this particular offering.

https://www.spiked-online.com/2025/04/17/the-hilarious-meltdown-of-men-who-think-theyre-women/

Dear goddess I bloody love every word of this, can't really fault Brendan, he says everything I and many other women would say, unfortunately we tend to get rape and death threats from the TRAs if we dare to. But more power to his elbow since men are rarely convinced about anything when a woman says it, so we need more men to speak this way i guess.

WallaceinAnderland · 30/03/2026 00:50

Oh yes, he said that allowing transwomen to compete in female sport was 'the end of sport completely' for women.

You’re asking the wrong person to ‘make sense’.

Of course, it shouldn’t be necessary to say ‘biological’ sex, there is no other type - it’s the fault of the relentless onslaught of transactivists on our language that we can’t just say ‘sex’ without someone pretending they don’t know what the word means.

And similarly we can't just say "woman" without being told to add "cis".

DeanElderberry · 30/03/2026 07:52

never say cis

Yes! It's what liberation looks like.

Thanks for posting. Interesting discussion.

Spot on! In previous generations he'd have been the crackpot sitting in the corner of the bar ranting away and avoided by the other regulars. The internet has made many wonderful things possible, but it's also given people like Willoughby a platform and an easy way to find others who aren't very bright but think they are and rejoice in being perverse.

Now he’s just the crackpot sitting alone in his car and ranting away.

The concept and the phrase biological sex is threatening to gender ideology, because it's basic science, everyone broadly sees it and understands it and it reminds everyone of the very simple concepts of boy/man and girl/woman based on biology that they grew up knowing. If you're trying to redefine sex etc based on identity, biology is the enemy. And the best way to stop people who haven't yet thought about this issue from thinking about it is to just portray it as a MAGA / conservative Christian thing that they wouldn't want to be associated with. It's lazy, but I assume it works a certain percentage of the time.

Shortshriftandlethal · 30/03/2026 10:06

I didn't realise that Willoughby was a father. How shameful and embarrassing to be spending his adult years completely absorbed in this utterly self serving narcissitic fantasy.

ItsCoolForCats · 30/03/2026 10:31

For another example of this, have a look at the thread about the Colin Wright journal article, which is a response to an article by Dana Mahr. Dana Mahr is another man who identifies as a woman who has a vested interest in pretending that sex isn't a real, definable thing. Colin's response is 👌🏻

WallaceinAnderland · 30/03/2026 13:18

It doesn't matter what term you use, whether it's biological sex or something else, there will always be a need to differentiate between men and women for the safety, fairness and dignity of women.

Most of the time sex doesn't matter but sometimes it does and in those cases we need words that have legal meaning.

Sure a man can put on a frock and call himself a woman, or put on a fur costume and call himself a dog but in reality he is neither of those things. And reality is what matters.

Women have rights too fella.

The13thFairy · 31/03/2026 19:29

Look him up on you tube in the Big Brother house - 'I am a Real Woman! Let that penetrate!' and try hard not to die laughing.

How awful it must be to be his child, if that son has any honesty in him. How old is the poor little beast now?

27, I think. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/5262094/celebrity-big-brothers-india-willoughby-hasnt-spoken-to-her-son-19-in-five-months-after-he-struggled-with-her-transition/ (Jan 2018)

The journalist, 51, told her other female housemates that she hasn’t spoken to her son Rhodes, 19, for over four months due to a rift over her sex change.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 01/04/2026 12:32

Poor Rhodes. I hope he manages to stay on an even keel and get away from the madness.
