Did she do any research for this article? If so, she should have discovered that it's not as easy as the Guides just "changing their name". It is all about their charitable aims. Anyway, typical pro trans girl inclusion article from ZW.

Can even ZW really think the problem of boys in Girlguiding would be solved by changing the name to something unisex? When the whole point is that it was set up for girls to flourish in in a male-free space? Is she just pretending to be so dim?

I miss the Guardian. But reading the dishonest nonsense it now spouts is too painful.

Have you suggested to all the complainers that there’s an opening for them to establish their own group, the girlesque guides would be a suitable name?
