Not having the best of days.

Such a shame.

Couldn’t appear in court because he had been arrested earlier! Honestly!

viques · 10/03/2026 18:50

Yes, mistimed that one Joey. Ooops.

£339,000, that’s going to hurt. But Eni deserves every penny.

His latest victim is in danger of losing an eye. Barton has been charged with wounding with intent.
He's a total lowlife, as is his brother Michael, convicted of the racially motivated murder of Anthony Walker in 2005.
I hope that he gets sent down for a long time.

NormasArse · 10/03/2026 19:03

He’s a horror.

KittyWilkinson · 10/03/2026 19:20

I'm fairly sure that he's got a six month suspended sentence hanging over him from the case back in December. That's a cheery thought.

Arlanymor · 10/03/2026 19:21

The man is a complete menace both IRL and online. How much of a rap sheet does this rat have to have before the house of cards come falling down?

Hoardasurass · 10/03/2026 23:45

I love that the judge denied him bail and held him on remand until next month's appearance 🤩

Bertiebiscuit · 11/03/2026 00:01

Yes, he's a very dangerous man

EmpressSisi · 11/03/2026 00:20

I’m not a violent person, but as a City fan I always wished Richard Dunne had just been allowed to deal with the little shit properly instead of having to restrain himself and ending up breaking his foot kicking something in frustration after that prick picked on a teenager in Thailand. He might have thought twice if he’d had to face a proper hard man. Dunnie would have absolutely twatted him.

Joey Barton is an absolute little rat bastard, as is his low life racist, murderer brother!

paintedpanda · 11/03/2026 07:31

I hope so much that he gets what’s coming to him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any positive press relating to him. It’s always, always because he’s said or done something disgusting. An embarrassment to humanity.

Oh did they I missed that bit! Hahahahaha that is good news.

Yep and his friend who was also charged got bail 🤣🤣

TWETMIRF · 11/03/2026 08:40

🤣🤣🤣

Beowulfa · 11/03/2026 08:59

A few years ago I was trying to remember the name of a key player in that QPR-Man City end of season title race decider. I described Barton as "the one with the face you'd never tire of punching" and the other person knew exactly who I meant.

cramptramp · 11/03/2026 09:19

Joey and his family are massive wronguns. He’ll never change. The longer he’s locked up the better but I imagine he’s lording it up inside.

He really isn't that notable as a footballer (one England cap) or a manager (a couple of lower league teams). Everyone would be better off if the world just collectively forgot about his existence.

MarieDeGournay · 11/03/2026 09:52

Him again, eh? My earliest recollection of him is when he stubbed out a cigar in the eye of a young teammate. Yes, that's right, he stubbed out a cigar in someone's eye.
You can't sink much lower than that, but JB seems to have done everything he can to sink as low as he can.

Sadly, as a MCFC fan, he’s more notable than I care to admit but not for good football!

IsEveryUserNameBloodyTaken · 11/03/2026 10:02

He’s just an unhinged thug along with his racist murdering brother.
Glad things are all catching up with him and I hope the victim sues him.

notacooldad · 11/03/2026 10:08

What the hell is wrong with him to make him a repeated vicious thug that never changes.
An absolutely vile human.

But remember, he won us the league 😉

By getting himself sent off for QPR and adding a load of injury time on to the match… just enough for Džeko and Agüero to score 🤣

MarieDeGournay · 11/03/2026 10:26

I think it's shocking that somebody with his history of violence - including against his own teammates - could be given a job as a manager, at any level of football.

Ohcrap082024 · 11/03/2026 10:54

He’s an absolute disgrace on every level. I’ve said it for years.

He’s a working class lad who was given a golden opportunity to do well for himself. A bloody good footballer who actually has a decent level of intelligence.

But he is rotten. A nasty piece of work with a vicious temper. Full of hatred for others. Convicted of assaulting his wife by kicking her in the head. A racist and a misogynist who believes he has the ultimate right to have his say. At all costs.

Why anyone ever put him in a position of authority as a manager is beyond me.

Hats off to Eni Aluko for standing up to him.

It is sickening to think that while he is in prison, he will be treated like some sort of king. I hope though that he gets convicted and gets a long prison sentence. It’s what he truly deserves.

TWETMIRF · 11/03/2026 11:09

A footballer that chooses to assault by kicking a woman in the head.
