What i detest most about the whole gender ideology shitshow is that it turned all the people i previously liked into morons amd all the people I previously hated into voices of reason.

He definitely has a good turn of phrase

I found this quote a few years ago and it applied to other things I have observed and been part of and was thinking about. It's not quite a perfect fit here but I often think about how it applies to your first paragraph, and the internal struggle it generates.

To be honest I think the struggle is over and I just have to accept I'm a (small 'c') conservative now 😁

In the context of womens rights, having won them wanting to conserve them seems perfectly reasonable to me 🙂

I still struggle, it's fecking maddening, but I'm not going to give any sort of authoritarianism a free pass no matter what it calls itself.

Oo that’s like me with toilets! I looked at what actually went on in them. Being safe is not conducive to inclusive design which is based on theory.

After a bit of trawling through Urban Dictionary (that ahem well-known scientifically founded and reliable source) I found this:

I took it to be the same as a "screaming queen" - overly camp, attention seeking men cosplaying as a caricature of women.

This is so true! I really enjoy listening to Rod Liddell on times radio. I do t always agree with him.

My reply, “hidden until MN can take a look at it”, contained a link to an Urban Dictionary definition of “MiMi” as someone that makes every conversation all about them, talks over other people incessantly, etc. Your definition makes much more sense given the context, though!

Come to think of it I'm not actually sure why I'm not supposed to approve of Rod Liddle, it's just a kind of folk memory, I'll have to research his misdeeds.

I had a quick look. He is certainly not very 'pure'.

He had a run in with Trans Media Watch in 2015 who had their complaint held up by the PCC.

He really doesn't like Jolyon. 🤣

He talks sense on this issue. I don’t have to agree with him about everything, or indeed anything, else to agree with him on this.
