Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

All of the women I have known having kids later in life is due to the time it takes to achieve the financial stability to afford a family, and, probably more significantly, finding a decent partner who is ready to commit and pull their weight as a father. Why is everything women’s fault when the whole of society operates to make it difficult? Similar situation in South Korea and Japan I believe.

deadpan · 15/02/2026 08:41

I'm shocked I tell you, shocked!
Hopefully this'll put off some of their voters, but I won't hold my breath.

BelleEpoque27 · 15/02/2026 08:42

Utter rubbish. Fuck off out of our wombs.

lcakethereforeIam · 15/02/2026 10:25

A plague on both their houses and Lucy Powell knows where she can stick her trumpet.

Warmlight1 · 15/02/2026 23:18

It says something when the deputy leader of the ruling party gets involved.
Goodwin spends the day denying he said exactly that. He was talking with an academic and agreeing with him

TaraC25 · 15/02/2026 23:21

Because we don't realise that we are fertile when our periods begin, do we. Fucking idiots!

Ahh wondered when the Epstein, Thiel & Musk breeding programme would arrive in the UK. To the surprise of nobody, it arrives via Reform.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/reform-matt-goodwin-gorton-denton-children-women-b2918340.html

And what biological reality would that really be? That there aren't enough white babies being born to stave off the economic reality of the necessity for immigrants?

Reform: 'Women's reproductive freedom is getting in the way of our white supremacy agenda'.

Well it's partly that but it's also something about feeling the need to explain all this to young women.

Yes. The poor dears lack the wherewithals to understand that their ability to reproduce is limited. Not to mention feminism is preaching the 'big lie' that self determination matters. They are literally sitting ducks for childlessness!

How would we ever understand anything if it wasn't for conservative men?

SwearyBeary · 16/02/2026 07:44

Jfc mentioning sex anywhere near a photo of Farage is going to make the birth rate plummet. Shudder.

This is exactly it, and it bears repeating.

Any woman who votes for these vile misogynists is an idiot.

I love this. Men being repugnantly anti feminism has nothing to do with the birth rate declining?

Who needs contraception with this mentality?

I think the elephant in the room from. a reform point of view is male fertility and potency declines.

Myfridgeiscool · 16/02/2026 08:03

I’m trying to form a reasonable response to this.
Women don’t want useless blokes or incels.
Taxing me for not producing a child is ridiculous, I’m assuming the males get taxed too?

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 16/02/2026 08:07

Reform is basically The Mansplaining Party. It is for middle aged men who don't know much about anything but still like explaining things.

What on earth makes you think that any of them actually give a shit what women want?

That makes it sound intensely irritating but ultimately harmless.

I think they're much more dangerous than that.

But women are. Not so many women but they have 5 MPs and a few more local councils.

They are indeed.

And that makes them idiots in my view. Turkeys voting for Christmas.

They probably believe that Reform policies won't affect women like them, and they presumably don't give a shit about anyone else. But I think they're going to get a rather rude awakening if any of these far right parties are successful.

But hopefully they will destroy each other through all of the infighting.

GenderRealistBloke · 16/02/2026 08:41

You haven’t said which bit of what is reported that you object to.

Because we’ve been here before: should we teach things that are biologically accurate but taboo to some, or obscure biological reality and because the ‘bad people’ are on that side.

For me, teach reality every time.

WillaT13 · 16/02/2026 09:50

Well I think a more worrying sign for women

I saw a hustings for the Gorton and Denton seat. A member of public asked about the Supreme Court decision on what a women is and do they support that and believe it’s now a closed issue.

they were asked to raise hands is they agree.

reform raised by 3 women for Labour, greens and liberals kept hands dems kept hands firmly in lap.

also EU just voted to include trans in any women’s legislation in the future.

the fight isn’t over.

Ok. Are you actually a bloke? Do you want to discuss infertility and impotence on social media? In an election campaign?
Well drop Matt Goodwin a line. He can discuss it with the leaders of Reform who are well over 40 and maybe that can be the second stage of the campaign which they all rally around.
Can you see any problem with that?

Do you think that women are really not aware about the time limitations of fertility?

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 16/02/2026 10:41

Ooh look, it's a tax on infertility, multiple miscarriages and having a body that doesn't successfully produce a live birth.

Whoopee.

I am, yes.

No, you will have to explain to me: what would be shocking or taboo about talking about those things at an election campaign?

(We don’t really know what OP disagrees with or why. She hasn’t said. We are just meant to know it’s bad because she’s associated it with Bad People. It’s a really corrosive way to discuss politics and policy).
