How young women are leading the fight-back

Can also be read at https://archive.is/nwtdv

I read this as interested to see what young women in Scotland had to about for instance FWS. But no mention of women's sex based rights.

Maybe the discussion is just going on on platforms they dont bother with.

And suspect this it probably true of young women in other parts of the UK.

As it is just in terms of current issues in the headlines for nothing to be said, I thought I would check out their web site.

And although cant find a section about "inclusivity" they do have this statement:

"Self-identifying young women, girls and non-binary people who recognise themselves within this movement are at the heart of everything we do."

https://youngwomenscot.org/about/our-mission-and-values/

And more in this "strategic" plan https://youngwomenscot.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/YWMStrategicPlan-ReimaginingScotlandforYoungWomenandGirls2023-2027.pdf

I wonder if they are funded by the SNP.

Photo representing your typical Scottish demographic. 🙄

96% White European.

Which will no doubt rile up right wing fucknuts who already believe the country is 'overrun' wi' immigrants'.

Well, the SNP has a boundless appetite for setting up government funded front groups to try to influence the narrative.

They also seem to be leaning into Labour's strategy of banging on endlessly about Andrew Tate. Teen boys these days, if they've even heard of Tate, seem to find him incredibly cringe. No doubt there are new manosphere influencers, and if I've never heard of them, I'm sure ScotGov hasn't. This is all a bit like parents in the punk era complaining about the nefarious influence of Jethro Tull.

Tate should really be paying them commission for making his flagging brand seem relevant.

Thanks - despite having a shit day this made me laugh.
