Has anyone seen Kirstie Allsopp scolding people on X for not being kind?

It all started because JKR posted about India Willoughby finally blocking her. According to KA, this makes JKR a vile bully.

Of course, KA has nothing to say about the years of abuse IW has directed at JKR. Such as that time last year when IW questioned JKR's version of events regarding her abusive first husband, because you know, there are two sides to every story, and JKR'S husband said he only slapped her that one time. And KA doesn't chastise people like India for this type of behaviour because they are part of the THE MOST MARGINALISED GROUP EVER (way more than women who have been abused by their partners). So it's absolutely fine for them to hurl misogynistic abuse on social media. Women must BE KIND, especially high profile women like JKR, and rise above this.

Kirstie's view is that if we could all be jolly well nice and polite to each other, the world would be a much better place and none of this would be an issue. And she is very proud that her views have not changed one inch over the last few years, despite all the evidence presented to her that unquestioningly going along with gender ideology causes harm to women. Because Kirstie is better than the rest of us and knows how to take the moral high ground.

My impression from some of her previous remarks on X is that she loathes the idea of the despised lower orders getting university education. A kind of ghastly female parody of a dim-witted eighteenth century squire, ranting red-faced over his post-prandial port about the evils of this new universal suffrage idea giving the peasants ideas above their station.

A true indictment of Britain that this person has become a vacuous ‘celebrity’.

MiL still loves her, she used to tape Kirstie’s craft shows which I did think was adorable.
Anyway, I learnt my lesson. We never ever speak ill of kirstie again. Or even gently critique.
I will add when MiL decided to talk to me again she didn’t skate over it, like you’d think someone who’d been completely unreasonable would. She just said, “I know it’s been a while, but you have to understand, you can’t just say things like that about someone like KA, anyway, let’s see the new baby!” 😂 We’ve been grand since!

This! Smashing your child’s IPad, infront of them is a truly awful thing to do. Plus she then boasted about it on Twitter. I bet her kid will never forget seeing her do it and will always be in the back of their mind that their mother can be violent.

At least you know how what weapon to use should you need some more peace at any time!

The posts on this thread are a response to her attacking people on Twi/X - not being a bit daft.

She's thick as a brick and has luxury beliefs on account of being richer than Solomon.
She's also ignorant - accusing Iranian bots of transphobia when Iran is the MOST PRO-TRANS regime in the world!

Willoughby is stupid and often deeply unpleasant and aggressive. JKR’s response to being blocked by him was clever and funny, but not nasty, I’ve found that some people are very uncomfortable with clever women making fun of men - I think they understand, at some level, that for a man, being mocked by a woman is the worst thing that can happen to him.

She is an unpleasant and quite arrogant woman. I watch the property programme and try and ignore her bits - she gets more patronising as time goes on.

She is fawning to house hunters from London, the home counties and posh parts of Edinburgh and anyone with a £1 million+ budget.

She is patronising to anyone from northern England, people with a smaller budget and younger people.

I always think she's someone who seems like they would have been written by Jane Austen, and not come out of it well.

Iran is only "pro-trans" in the sense that it gives gay people the choice: transition or death.

@SidewaysOtter exactly - resulting in the highest rate of trans surgery of any nation. The surgeons are like weird celebrities, one even released a bizarre pop video. Why would an Iranian bot be sending anti-trans rhetoric when they use it as a method of conversion therapy?

Viciously homophobic and pro trans are very often the same thing, as Iran demonstrates. The other element to pro trans is the misogyny, and Iran excels at that too.

i was surprised, and not a little disappointed to hear the chaps on The Rest Is History being (sounding like) impressed that Iran is so far ahead in MtF trans surgery.

I would have thought a couple of educated blokes would be able to work out why that is.

Not being pushed around isn't being unkind. Maybe KA is jealous of JKR's ability to be extremely funny in the process. She doesn't seem the type to understand sarcasm either.

Kirsty Allsopp and the programmes she is part of help increase property prices, be it buying or renting. So indirectly making it more difficult for anyone to live on one income, such as someone escaping a bad marriage or worse, most of those continuing to suffer being women.

I know this is strictly about K Allsopp and JKRowling, but as it's all in relation to India Willoughby I thought you'd find Dame Katy Denise's recent post interesting....

I haven't listened to it yet but Iran is big on plastic surgery anyway, some of the world's best surgeons are there. It's a point of status to show off the visible signs of having had work done, people even leave their nose guards on longer than they need to in order to show off!
