Has anyone seen Kirstie Allsopp scolding people on X for not being kind?

It all started because JKR posted about India Willoughby finally blocking her. According to KA, this makes JKR a vile bully.

Of course, KA has nothing to say about the years of abuse IW has directed at JKR. Such as that time last year when IW questioned JKR's version of events regarding her abusive first husband, because you know, there are two sides to every story, and JKR'S husband said he only slapped her that one time. And KA doesn't chastise people like India for this type of behaviour because they are part of the THE MOST MARGINALISED GROUP EVER (way more than women who have been abused by their partners). So it's absolutely fine for them to hurl misogynistic abuse on social media. Women must BE KIND, especially high profile women like JKR, and rise above this.

Kirstie's view is that if we could all be jolly well nice and polite to each other, the world would be a much better place and none of this would be an issue. And she is very proud that her views have not changed one inch over the last few years, despite all the evidence presented to her that unquestioningly going along with gender ideology causes harm to women. Because Kirstie is better than the rest of us and knows how to take the moral high ground.

I understand this is a derail from the actual thread but my MIL adores KA. Like, couldn’t love her more. She was a huge fan of all the cath kidston stuff in the 2000s and the KA style. If KA said it, MIL repeated it/bought it/did it.
Anyway she took the KA view of homework is pointless very much to heart and I was doing a project for school with my DC, MIL pipes up about how homework is pointless and even KA thinks so. I said was homework pointless to her and her family because they’re millionaires with access to unlimited resources and time to potter around enjoying their hobbies and not needing to work hard to get into uni and make a good living?

Anyway MIL was so offended I questioned KA’s opinion she didn’t talk to me for almost 4 years, blocked me on every single platform or device we spoke on and wrote a lengthy Facebook post about how she had to cut me off because me questioning a woman as intelligent and talented KA was so upsetting she couldn’t look at me the same way again and couldn’t understand why her son would let me say such things, knowing how much I would have hurt her feelings questioning KA. She called me a silly little girl (I was almost 30) and my favourite “jumped up little tart”* in this lengthy post.

So for that reason alone, for those almost 4 wonderful, peaceful, glorious years, I won’t have a fucking word said against Kirstie!

*We have suspected that this insult may have been used one of her soaps and she held onto it.

It’s ‘trans’ child syndrome again. KA has admitted she has friends whose children have ‘transitioned’ so you will never get an ounce of sense from her.

As Helen Joyce has said, this syndrome corrupts everything.

KA as a human shield against a MiL, I love it! Should I ever want to go no contact with my dad (which I don't, he's great), I think all I'd have to do is repeatedly praise Geoffrey Boycott. That's a hill he'd consider dying on.

I wonder if Kirstie was being kind when she smashed her children's iPads - if she had such an objection to their screen time couldn't she have wiped them and given them away.
Or when she flew first class and her kids flew pleb class.
She's a prime example of the Noel Kavanagh theory posted yesterday.

I agree, but it honestly enrages me that it's 2026 and women are still being lectured about being kind.

I came across a post yesterday from Stuart Macintosh ‘stueymaco on X which would indicate her posts started much further back, his was a repost from 2023. She now has a cemented reputation for really being at best, an ill informed nincompoop, although I think I’m’being kind’ using those words.

I think the TRA's will soon be turning on Kirstie when they realise she is not a true believer or an ally. At the moment she thinks she will get away with it because she is being kind and polite.

I think we should run a sweepstake around when she's going to flounce off X. I think by the end of today. She's digging a massive hole for herself and today said women should campaign about girls in Iran getting shot not women's rights in the UK. Tracey Edwards who has a charity supporting girl's education in places like Afghanistan has given her the most glorious dressing down.

She wasn't very kind to Michael Rosen recently when she had a go at him for using a free London freedom pass - he's 79!

She judged that very badly given that 1. Michael Rosen is a (well deserved) national treasure and 2. Her response was petty in the extreme at him saying he had had issues with his card malfunctioning.

Agreed. Also, she has no idea what his finances are. And she, a multi millionaire, is having a go at the concept of universal benefits. It's not a good look. She can come across like Trump in her tweeting imo- posting random stuff she hasn't thought through then getting very defensive about it when challenged.

I think KA does know that TW arent W, but has trans people in her work and social circles. So has conflicting thoughts, and probably knows her solutions are pants, so deflauts to 'be kind, im not listening if you are mean'.

It might be just coincidence, but JKR is the top terf for TRA, so im assuming she has someone in her ear, telling her about JKR. When she comes across a tweet, she immediately labels it as bad, because she needs an excuse not to listen to JKR.

How interesting. I was going to say that I'd put money on KA having a trans-identifying person in her circle of family/friends. TCS makes fools of even the brightest people and sadly KA wasn't in this group to start with.

So KA has bought some good into the world then 😬
