Kirstie Allsop

Has anyone seen Kirstie Allsopp scolding people on X for not being kind?

It all started because JKR posted about India Willoughby finally blocking her. According to KA, this makes JKR a vile bully.

Of course, KA has nothing to say about the years of abuse IW has directed at JKR. Such as that time last year when IW questioned JKR's version of events regarding her abusive first husband, because you know, there are two sides to every story, and JKR'S husband said he only slapped her that one time. And KA doesn't chastise people like India for this type of behaviour because they are part of the THE MOST MARGINALISED GROUP EVER (way more than women who have been abused by their partners). So it's absolutely fine for them to hurl misogynistic abuse on social media. Women must BE KIND, especially high profile women like JKR, and rise above this.

Kirstie's view is that if we could all be jolly well nice and polite to each other, the world would be a much better place and none of this would be an issue. And she is very proud that her views have not changed one inch over the last few years, despite all the evidence presented to her that unquestioningly going along with gender ideology causes harm to women. Because Kirstie is better than the rest of us and knows how to take the moral high ground.

Allsop's out of her depth ...

Tracy Edwards - Skippered The First All-Female Crew In The Whitbread Round The World Yacht Race

JK Rowling - Successful Author, Philanthropist, Billionaire

Kirsty Allsop - Estate Agent 🙄

Also, touter of shite tat made from things found around your house. But not your normal person's house, no, where there is probably half a roll of sellotape, some wrinkled wrapping paper and a couple of ancient corks. But a multi millionaire's type of house where there is yards of hand brushed artisanal velvet, paints made from grinding up precious stones and handmade buttons from Harrods.

Lovelyview · 21/01/2026 17:08

She has flounced but only until after half term.

nutmeg7 · 21/01/2026 17:21

She is not a deep thinker. Or well-informed about much. Or particularly self-aware.

Don't forget the casual booklet of sheets of pure gold to tosh over a mouldy Comice Pear or two. Surely everybody has a couple of those on one's sideboard?

I'm surprised by this as KA is usually pretty conservative in her views.

Team JKR, as ever.

Minimisation of women's dependence on sex specific rights.

Deference to men.

She is still conservative.

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 21/01/2026 18:56

She is jolly good chums with the fox basher.
This will come as no surprise

Greyskybluesky · 21/01/2026 18:59

Tracy Edwards is magnificent:

How dare you! How bloody dare you. You know less than nothing about what women in the UK are fighting for right now. Many of us work behind the scenes with with women from Iran and Afghanistan. How dare you try this shit on us. Educate yourself before speaking.

I think the TRA's will soon be turning on Kirstie when they realise she is not a true believer or an ally. At the moment she thinks she will get away with it because she is being kind and polite.

Some quotes from her recent tweets,

"I agree, children cannot consent to surgery or medication which has lifelong impacts."

"Trans women are trans women" (in response to a transwomen are men comment)

"I think trans women should not be in included in vulnerable women’s spaces and that sport is a difficult issue but we should lean to fairness for the majority"

"I have often said that the initial reaction to what JK first said was wrong on every level, and abuse is NEVER acceptable."

Anyone's guess how you do any of this without making it clear that people can't change sex and that this group of men are being treated just like any other man.

His kimono (or was it his wife's?) was probably a silkscreen printed special, made by Kirstie on her 'you must handmake your own personalised napkin rings for your Christmas Eve supper or you're an irredeemably lazy pleb' show.

RedToothBrush · 22/01/2026 08:10

I present yet more evidence that trans activism is a lanyard out of touch elite belief that punches down on women.

Thanks for illustrating the point Kirsty.

Shes always seemed to be a 'pick me' woman to me.

Agreed. I have always thought men are more important to her than other women.

Floisme · 22/01/2026 09:22

I don't think Kirstie Allsop is particularly interesting in her own right, but I do think she represents a view that's popular in some quarters, which is that a sensible solution could be found to all this if only those nasty women wouldn't keep making things worse. You see it on this board too.

I also imagine Allsop has realised that TRAs are more likely to leave her alone if she takes the odd pop at JKR.

I think this pretty much sums her up. I think she is also performing for the audience of those who think just that, the ‘moderates’ who think there just has to be a way but you are all too mean to have come up with a compromise.

She has a very superficial understanding of the issues. She feels safe criticising JKR of course, because apart from JKR tweeting something, she is not about to cause KA harm.

Lampit · 22/01/2026 09:34

The middle ground ‘compromise’ has already been set out:
‘Dress however you please.
Call yourself whatever you like.
Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you.
Live your best life in peace and security.
But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real?’

DeanElderberry · 22/01/2026 10:03

Kirstie Allsop dislikes the promotion of reading and books so I can see why she'd resent JKR.

Dull woman, but with connections.

Indeed, but X poster Psychgirl211 made a good argument recently for AGP men NOT dressing as they please in public places.

From Dame Katy Denise (parody account on X)

Hey Kirstie, I normally try to post the most tone deaf, disgraceful & down right offensive stuff on here, but I can’t compete with this, hun. Bravo!

Yes there’s a lot of truth in that. Is it always a fetish though? Personally I’ve no issue with men wearing dresses and make up.
Where does individual preference and personality stop and fetish start? (Probably when they start saying they’ve changed sex actually thinking about it!)

DeanElderberry · 22/01/2026 11:20

If they are showing off skin between armpit level and mid-thigh it is inappropriate, bondage gear is inappropriate, clothes styled either to reveal (those pink leggings) or conceal (Grayson Perry) the erections the clothes give them are inappropriate.

This is not a comprehensive list.

Lampit · 22/01/2026 11:25

Yes-the fact that that would need to be spelt out shows that we’re not dealing with reasonable people!

SidewaysOtter · 22/01/2026 11:33

KA has repeatedly waded into this, in a very "Posh woman here to tell you how it's all very simple and you're all wrong" kind of way.

I generally find watching her beclown herself on TwiX highly entertaining, although her "whataboutery" yesterday in the context of Iranian women was deeply offensive. She's absolutely tone-deaf but - like all true believers - she won't hear a viewpoint other than her own.

She does have a habit of doing this on all sorts of issues.

There is a pattern

bigboykitty · 22/01/2026 11:42

She sees herself as some kind of authoritative voice telling the little people how it really is. I think her main aim is simply self-promotion. She's just an absolute knob, anyway.
