This claim fails on two grounds:

1. Genocide is, by definition, a crime that can only be committed against a racial, ethnic, national, or religious group. Unless you are trying to claim with a straight face that trans ideology is a religion, this definition cannot apply to trans people.

1. Being told to use your own sex's facilities isn't a human rights violation. Neither is being told to compete in the sports team for own sex, nor being housed in your own sex's prison. Genocide requires human rights violations on a large scale, and the US simply isn't doing that.

I love how the media treats the Lemkin Institute as if it's some venerable, massively respected, human rights watchdog that has something to do with Raphael Lemkin...

Raphael Lemkin, after whom this institute was named (without the consent of his descendants*) knew what genocide really was. He was a Holocaust survivor.

My memory is a bit hazy on this, but IIRC there was a group that named themselves after Anne Frank, without any permission from her family.

I have a very strong and emotive memory from my childhood of watching Otto Frank, Anne's father, being interviewed on TV, so I always felt appropriating her name for any cause was a bit much.

This is nitpicking on top of the more fundamental issues, but the IAGC is the International Association of GeoChemistry. Which in turn is its own sort of capital offence.

10 Stages of Genocide:

1. Classification: People are divided into "us and them" - it's trans people who divide the entire world into "trans and cis people".
2. Symbolisation: People are forced to identify themselves - it's trans people who insist on declaring themselves and children as trans.
3. Discrimination: People begin to face systematic discrimination - trans people have exactly the same rights as everyone else in the US and the UK.

So according to that list, the very first steps of genocide are not reached, not even close.
