Look, it doesn’t matter if she knows any of us personally, she was first minister for 8 years and in government roles for several years longer before that. I’ve lived in Scotland for a good 20 years now, my children were born here, they went to school in Scotland and one is in her last term at a Scottish university, I can judge her political legacy. Life in Scotland is now worse than when I first got here and she was in charge of government for a fair amount of this time. We, the people who live in Scotland are allowed to judge her on what she did (and didn’t do), this is part and parcel of being a politician. You might not like that but that really doesn’t matter. She is a failed politician but then that is a fate that awaits pretty much all of them. History will not look kindly on Nicola Sturgeon, although I doubt she will be more than a footnote.

Well, you know, free university is pretty much the only benefit that I get for the fact that I pay considerably more tax than my colleagues in the rest of the UK who are on the same wage, she might as well make the best of it.
It's really not my family that you should be worried about (I know you aren't), we have enough useful passports between us, all of us are multilingual, we can fuck off somewhere else when we had enough, the barely literate kids that my children went to school with are the ones who need Scotland to have a decent economy and NHS and functioning infrastructure because they won't be able to just leave.

I was going to ignore this but, see, this is the reason why I don't believe in the claim that the British (or Scottish) sense of humour is better than elsewhere. 95% of "humour" is predictable phrases like these (with some Scots or dialect thrown in in Scotland). I knew you would say that. So lame.
