Look, it doesn’t matter if she knows any of us personally, she was first minister for 8 years and in government roles for several years longer before that. I’ve lived in Scotland for a good 20 years now, my children were born here, they went to school in Scotland and one is in her last term at a Scottish university, I can judge her political legacy. Life in Scotland is now worse than when I first got here and she was in charge of government for a fair amount of this time. We, the people who live in Scotland are allowed to judge her on what she did (and didn’t do), this is part and parcel of being a politician. You might not like that but that really doesn’t matter. She is a failed politician but then that is a fate that awaits pretty much all of them. History will not look kindly on Nicola Sturgeon, although I doubt she will be more than a footnote.
