Case against Louise Distras collapses

RoyalCorgi · 29/12/2025 10:40

Louise Distras has been through the most shocking experience of being harassed and hounded by trans activists - and then prosecuted for being the harasser.

Fortunately, the case fell apart.

x.com/LouiseDistras/status/2005564950391955689

For those not on Twitter, this is what she says:

Finally dragged myself out of this Christmas flu pit to tell you that on 9 December, I walked out of Leeds Crown Court NOT GUILTY. The case collapsed before it even got to trial. The CPS stood up, admitted they had zero evidence, and told the judge there wasn’t a cat in hell’s chance of any jury convicting me.

I’d been facing up to five years in prison for allegedly breaching an expired (and dodgy AF) non-molestation order. My “crime”? Speaking publicly about the abuse and stalking I’d suffered from a male trans activist at the Let Women Speak event in Leeds and in an X Spaces chat back in 2023.

If you want the backstory on what led to this prosecution (the stalking, the dodgy orders, the timeline), I wrote it all out on my blog (link in bio).

After years of stress, cancelled gigs, lost income, and the music industry turning its back on me…something finally went right.

I’m still trying to get my head around the sheer insanity of it all. I’ve got a lot more to say when I’m ready, but right now I just needed you to know the good news.

It’s early days but I’ve already started the wheels turning on suing West Yorkshire Police too - watch this space.

Thankyou for having my back through all the crap. Happy New Year you absolute legends. Louise XX

She has also posted this notice and link to back ground post on facebook.

Just mentioning as I think not only for the supposed "crime" but the pre trial "punishment" that she will not get compensation for, ie 2 years of waiting, should be shared as widely as possible.

It really makes you wonder how many other women are being held in limbo like this.

This is the facebook link for anyone on facebook who might want to share, or even add a message of support.

The CPS are deeply trans captured and have been for many years. They beclowned themselves many years ago by producing toxic "trans guidelines" for schools which were anti safeguarding and openly promoted coercive control of girls (to the extent they tried to weigh in on the behaviour of girls in toilets and insist that any reluctance to befriend any "trans child" was transphobia.

The guidelines were swiftly withdrawn in the face of a potential judicial review but I'd put money on it that the authors still work in the CPS and no doubt continue to influence prosecution policy to the detriment of women and girls.

Another institution that needs a review into their failure to adopt the Nolan Principles of public life along with a deep dive into the computers of some of their staff.

YY.

It's everywhere, isn't it? Orgs where you thought, surely these people will be sensible... Who can be relied on? Seems mostly at the moment the courts, and the slow pressure of increasing public awareness forcing political action, one way or another.

I was sorrry to hear that Bandcamp, which I've always supported thought was a bit better than Evil Spotify, had dumped on Louise.

Unbelievable?

Is that in fact why the case was dropped.

That the CPS or whoever thought maybe this is about something else, rather than saying there is no case to answer.

So lets get this straight… she was found not guilty because it didn’t meet the threshhold for a conviction. And as we all know, not guilty doesn’t equal innocent.

She must have had a non-mol agaisnt her spanning yeats? They don’t just grant and extend those for seemingly no reason, do they?

I’d probabaly be more trusting of Louise if she didn’t have such a long history of crowdfundng tens of thousands. Pretty much everything she posts seems to have some kind of Crowd Funder, buy me a cofee, or promote her music link attatched.

Has anyone actually looked futher into any of her cliams, especially the ones she hasn’t even written herself?

Errr no

It did not meet the threshhold for the CPS to spend public funds on holding a trial so not in the public interest as the CPS could not meet its requirement of producing the evidence.

And in the UK the system is run on innocent until proven otherwise.

MyOliveReader · 15/01/2026 22:27

Sorry but i have to disagree.

Not guilty is a full acquittal, yeah, but WY Police dont arrest people for nothing and the CPS wouldnt have bothered pursuing it at all if there wasnt something there, even if theyve now dropped it. Doesnt mean shes guilty, just that its not as black and white as people are making out.

Ive got no reason to believe or disbelieve her version, but it feels a bit short sighted to just blindly believe one clearly biased account, esp when its followed up with asks for financial support.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 15/01/2026 22:39

I’m pretty sure that WY Police have “arrested people for nothing” many times 🙄 I can believe her account because I know how many of these cases go. The process is the punishment. Nothing “blind” about it.

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 15/01/2026 22:43

A trans-identifying woman was allegedly raped in a secure men's psych ward.

It's likely that transactivists have picked today to start posting contentious material on this weeks-old, dormant thread to distract us from talking about how SLaM NHS Trust's trans-inclusion policies put this woman in a place where two male psych patients were able to allegedly§ rape her within an hour of her arrival on the ward.

§: The trial of the suspects is ongoing.

Bwahahahahahaha oh, FMD! Gasps for air.... phfwbahahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂oh that's a side-splitter, that is! UK police passionately HATE feminists! They arrested a woman in a wheelchair for putting up an anti-domestic violence flyer (that didn't even mention trans, but trans activists thought anti-DV flyer was 'anti trans' - makes you wonder why they think being anti-DV is 'anti-trans' - there is a question in there), and arrested a woman for breaking a male trans activist's umbrella - which video evidence at the rally shows it was already broken when he was using it; based on nothing but a MAN'S lie to the police.

There was even a leaked audio of police at a station after a phone call laughing and joking about feminists being hurt at a womens rights rally.

The UK police would shoot all feminists if they could. They hate us that much.

You are a naive, poor sweet summer child who has no idea of how much UK police hate women and feminists with an intensity, so much that CORRUPT POLICE would concoct a setup reason to arrest us. Police corruption is real. But you seem to really think they are pure as the driven snow and despite clear evidence of them cooking up reasons, wouldn't arrest us for 'no reason'. Oh to be so naive as you are and I once was. I wish I didn't know what I know. I wish I too could still be naive.

lcakethereforeIam · 16/01/2026 09:45

It's almost like some posters live in a world where the police don't employ rapists.

Remember when the police went around handing out crime numbers for things which were not crimes and even after been taken to court and told to stop some forces continue to record lawful activity as criminal activity?

I actually seen one police officer (A) on their official force twitter account tell another TRA police officer (B) using his forces twitter account that he (B) would be reported for his misuse of police resources and for (as claimed) filing a false police report over lawful tweets. So dont discount the fact that misguided activism and political motivations lead to abuse of power.

Or when the CPS went around telling children that they were engaged in a hate crime if they dared to decide that they did not want to be friends with another child and then had to pull the policy?

The fact that the police and CPS had a statements from each witness and ages to confirm the facts and locate other witness to help to prove events happened as described by one witness but not the other?

What's her "long history" of crowdfunding? Are you saying it's more than just this case and the previous one? More than 2?

I donated to her other case and was a bit blindsided that it wasn't exactly what she had made out it was, and that it was also in family court which I'm pretty sure I never saw mentioned initially. So obviously after we had all donated we just literally took her word for it as it was FC and she couldn't talk about it- so we just had to accept the money raised was used etc. I vowed never to donate again as just felt the lack of transparency was a bit iffy. That and her coming out in support of TR.
I wonder if now people are waking up to this madness if she regrets publicly coming out in support of TR and performing at his march? I'd be kicking myself if I were her. People won't forgive that.

I do think she was treated terribly by Band camp, people in the industry, the police, CPS etc though, all for the crime of knowing what a man is and not pretending otherwise.

Oh please, it's blatantly obvious that this post and the one from "MyOliveReader" are from the same bitter trans complainant who made those false reports against Louise in the first place. You're clearly seething because when your wild accusations finally got tested in a proper court, there wasn't a scrap of evidence to support any of your lies. The judge saw right through it, and now you're hiding behind sock accounts on here to spread more smears? Pathetic. Louise was fully acquitted because your claims were baseless nonsense from the start. Maybe focus on your own issues instead of harassing women online and wasting police time.
You lied, you got found out, you lost big time. Louise is cleared and moving on. You're still raging in the comments like a sore loser. Get over it.

Wondering if we should compile a list of all the women who have been arrested or threatened with it by WY police over the years?
There've been a good few in my recollection. They're notorious for it
