Darlington Nurses gardening - target reduced, six days left

Just to let any gardeners out there know that the Darlington nurses have had to reduce their crowd funding target. They have six days to meet the new (lower) target or they will lose the money. If anyone does have a spare carrot or parsnip this payday I’m sure they’d appreciate it.

I can’t share the link (Mumsnet rules) but a swift Google search should find them.

I gave myself a shock after I donated because I saw the £20,000 amount on here and the one I donated to had a £50,000 target - but then I read the thread in full and if I understand correctly it had just tipped over the £20,000 minimum target and then a new "stretch" target was set.

So if I've understood correctly (I hope so otherwise I donated to the wrong thing!) they will now get the money raised rather than it being returned, because it passed the minimum amount, but the new (optional ?) target is £50,000.
