If this was the case, why not cc both email addresses?

Edited

Agreed. The only other alternative is MD cannot be trusted to even send an email, what on earth is she doing in charge of an org?

ProfessorDoctorJudgeOfSteel · 18/11/2025 11:12

I once advertised on the penpal pages on Channel 4 teletext. I think this should enable me to to become the Chair of Ofcom.

Am struggling to keep up with this as usual...I was a Gnome in brownies but didn't enjoy it and dropped out asap. I like a certificate or two and actually have a diploma in booze 🍷🍾Not sure what that qualifies me for in terms of jobs.

I was also a Gnome. A Seconder no less. I was absolutely robbed of the prize (box of Maltesers) for the Fancy Dress competition at Brownie camp. I was dressed up AS A GNOME (weird Brownie creature, rather than garden variety) and was hands down the best outfit there, complete with broom and everything, but just because it was Linda’s birthday, she got the prize and she was dressed as a crappy, unimaginative cat. So, rather than a tale of dizzying achievement, this is a little insight into how all my hopes and dreams were dashed at a young age!

(I did win a Sega Megadrive on a scratch card that came with the free local rag, so success through luck rather than endeavour, was eventually mine!)

From NW

... an unsent email in SAR bundle
MD appears confused.
NC you're just lying now aren't you
MD I DO NOT ACCEPT THAT
NC takes MD to the SAR and the covering note which doesn't say "you'll find your password in there"
MD I don't say there's this this and this
NC no but you know...

... she's been asking for her password, but you don't tell her its there.
MD no
J are you saying on 23 Oct email that within that reply there was a password
MD there were hundreds of docs in the SAR". A fair part of my working life for some time was taken up doing this.

... and the resources and time of our org. "Our work suffered greatly. Our organisation suffered greatly."
J I think a lot of orgs would say the same. Not just yours
NC so you sent her the password buried in a bundle knowing she needed it and didn't tell her it was there

ProfessorMyrtleLion · 18/11/2025 11:18

From NW

... is that a fair summary
MD possibly - I thought Mr Chambers (SM's solicitor) might see it and give it to her
NC you like blaming everyone else don't you
MD I don't accept that
NC to summarise you knew from 25 July the claimant didn't have access and you did nothing to

ickky · 18/11/2025 11:18

MD appears to be mad as a box of frogs. She really is not doing herself any favours, being so hostile and obtuse.

ProfessorBettyBooper · 18/11/2025 11:18

Bit of an unnecessary intervention there by the judge? If only these damn wims would just shut up, eh and we could get on with our very busy jobs of erecting # Bigley Screens

MarieDeGournay · 18/11/2025 11:18

Yes indeed judge, genderwoo has caused a lot of suffering in a lot of organisations🙄

CriticalCondition · 18/11/2025 11:19

Interesting that the judge has intervened several times to extract answers from MD.

MarieDeGournay · 18/11/2025 11:20

interesting crosspost wth ProfessorBettyBooper -
depends what the Judge meant as the origin of all the extra work!

From NW

... communicate it to her till 26 November
MD I did take action. I sent it mistakenly to the wrong address in July, I took action in October and again in November
NC and you firstly sent it to the wrong address and then you secondly hid it in a pile of papers

MD I sent to her and it was available to her and it was there for her to use it
NC and this was someone who was off sick with poor mental health
NC have you heard the expression gaslighting
MD vaguely

NC it's about giving people misinformation to drive them mad
MD is this... sorry
J let NC ask the qs
NC you were gaslighting SM weren't you
MD no
NC the way you were treating her was "cynically cruel"

Cailleach1 · 18/11/2025 11:21

‘J: I think a lot of orgs would say the same. Not just yours’

What does Judge mean by that, I wonder? All orgs which end up in an ET ‘cos they are now having to defend their actions against an employee?

ProfessorBettyBooper · 18/11/2025 11:21

MD possibly - I thought Mr Chambers (SM's solicitor) might see it and give it to her

She thought SM's solicitor would find her email password in a bundle and pass it on? This woman is ridiculous.

Why thank you! I accept and will henceforth correct anyone who misuses the word 'literally'.

You're going to be busy...

Shedmistress · 18/11/2025 11:22

I joined the brownies for one day, I left as all they did was pull petals off of flowers.

I joined guides for one day, but we went into the woods and Ihad to go find 'kindling' which at the time was wet and then I had an asthma attack [probably from rutting around for wet kindling in the damp woods].

Anyhow I did once work for an organisation who sent my password to my email account when I joined up and the IT guy could not comprehend why I was unable to retrieve it and I had to go stand in the doorway of his office and explain that it was impossible to retrieve as I didn't have this password yet as he had sent it to an account that I couldn't get into due to not having the password. It was a very tedious conversation. He literally did not understand. He eventually relented and sent a copy of the email to my boss.

ProfessorMyrtleLion · 18/11/2025 11:22

From NW

MD I do not accept that.
[bit of case management chat - SD is actually trying to get MD off the last session of her evidence]

MarieDeGournay · 18/11/2025 11:22

J let NC ask the qs

"It was October"
"It's definitely somewhere"

... in "hundreds" of documents that she complained about having to collate. MD was right quick to correct the record on the moment of sending the password, too.

I'd say something about the "solicitor might pass it on" but it wouldn't translate well from the used language of incoherent offended spluttering on my part.

Interesting that the judge has intervened several times to extract answers from MD.

MD alone might be enough to peak the judge at this rate.

ProfessorDoctorJudgeOfSteel · 18/11/2025 11:24

ProfessorMyrtleLion · 18/11/2025 10:46

And that it hasn't made up anything. Apparently I have

  • managed neurodivergent people
  • Launched a successful accreditation programme that I actually designed but was then never implemented, and
  • Influenced an international election following a conflict, when actually I trained some people on campaign techniques.
It is very useful but I don't see it taking over the world any time soon.

Yes, that too! I’ve never used it before but I don’t seem to be very good at personal statements. I’ve had 2 interviews using AI for them and none without. I just need to learn how to talk like it in interviews. 😆

J looking at the timetable - according to this you're going to be done by 1115 tomorrow
NC I think so yes
J the longer this goes on the more it eats into your written subs - can we finish MD by lunchtime today?
NC I expect to be comfortably finished by lunchtime to day

My immediate reaction was that MD was looking for sympathy as she's soooooo "busy and the J was saying "yes there is a lot of work in going to ET for all organisations and they do the work - you aren't special"

MarieDeGournay · 18/11/2025 11:24

5 months to get a staff member's password to her? No wonder she is so busy if she is this incompetent.
