I suspect that Naomi took this line of questioning to discomfort MD by letting her know that she had been deeply researched & that the Claimant's side had the receipts.

IF that's the only reason, I think it was wrong.
Using 'We even know about your romantic entanglements in 2011' as a way to 'discomfort' a witness doesn't feel right to me. Ad feminam.

Large G & T please @EdithStourton plenty of ice.

I should think shagging your co-directors partner (allegedly) is even less conducive to a smooth working relationship than being a dreadful terf, no?

Herewith.
Sorry for delay, was in car.

Do they still exist? I had loads.

About 10 years ago they went through a phase of publishing 100's. One of the cheap (remaindered?) book cmpanies used to sell them in packs of 10 or so; great for Christmas stockings or party bags.

@ProfessorMyrtleLion I actually cannot deal with the name changes 🤣

I have decided that my only name changes will be to add to the base NebulousSupportPostcard to avoid being taken to tribunal and facing the wrath of NC/CE for attempts to hide my sins.

buckeejit · 17/11/2025 17:06

Just to reiterate that Norn Iron is very wee so we’ve all at least snogged several of our mates’ husbands & wives at some stage in the past & the love triangle isn’t so surprising! 😆

I’d love to go sit in on the court next Monday if possible but can’t work out how - court lists weren’t helpful. Does anyone know if the public can just turn up in the morning or is there more to it?

I have to go feed people now but that was a good day & seems to be going really well!

ProfessorVegemiteandhoneyontoast · 17/11/2025 17:06

Nothing to add but my grateful thanks for all the copying, pasting and incredible excavations over the weekend.

I wouldn't be surprised if the partner/ex/Outburst jigsaw pieces which Naomi put together form part of a bigger picture we only get to see later.

Like Poirot.

Doesn't NIPSA have a retired members branch?
Odd that the Judge says MM is no longer a member, yet he is on the panel for the trade union side?
Most unions have a branch for retired members. Yet he is claiming not to have anything to do with unions these days? I suppose it tops up his pensions nicely. Another grifter.

He's an employee panel member, not a union one. Employee members tend to be union people because that gives them relevant experience, but they don't have to be. And he shouldn't be on any side.

To the tune of Begin the Beguine.

Is 'refuse the recuse' anything to do with the chalice from the Palace and the brew that is true? 😜

(Sorry. Couldn’t resist. Back to the thread which I’m still catching up on since my elevation to Professordom)

ProfessorVegemiteandhoneyontoast · 17/11/2025 17:07

Also, just to add re certificates - somewhere I still have my Pizza Hut 'DOUGH MASTER' certificate from 1988.

This was the type of imp badge I wore 😲 Fucking terrifying. MN might censor it. I wouldn't blame them.

I think it was the youtube video of Prof DB claiming to be an employment judge.

No.

vearing slightly off topic but how many fkn 'michael mckeowns' are there in the wee town/village of newbry in NI? I mean....jeezo

Since no outraged inhabitants of Nyurry have responded, I'll step in:
Newry [Iúir Cinn Trá originally, 'The Yew Tree at the Head of the Strand'] is neither a wee town nor a village, it is technically a ✨citySmile

McKeown is a very common name in that whole are of South Co Down, Louth, Armagh etc - the area known historically as Oriel. It means John's son.
Michael is a very common name all over Ireland, so you're bound to get oodles and oodles of Michael McKeown's in the area. I think I went to primary school with one or two!

Hence the importance of nicknames...

We didn't have a car growing up

Sad times

My goodness, that's actually a real eye-opener. It never before occurred to me that being often car-based means I Spy wasn't a universal childhood hobby. Checking my privilege 😳 The things I learn here are so surprising 🙏

NoBinturongsHereMate · 17/11/2025 17:13

ProfessorBoiledbeetle · 17/11/2025 15:46

NC you and Ruth McCarthy were both made directors of Outburst on the same day in 2010 and you haven't worked with them since 2011 because after that you got into a relationship with and subsequently married RM's partner

😱😱😱

Audible gasp.

There you are.

NebulousProfessorSupportPostcard · 17/11/2025 17:14

ProfLargofesse · 17/11/2025 16:18

This is the Outburst email for reference

That's a very comprehensive response to have written by 9.28 the day after receiving the CC everyone invitation.

Especially since it took 'all f-ing day' for MD to formulate a single response tweet when this initially kicked off.

SexRealistic · 17/11/2025 17:14

Before you do, I think you need to apply to the court to view it live, they want names and everything!

There is plenty of space and the clerks are accommodating!

"theme of the tribunal"? Was that someone's Freudian slip? (Hers or Nick's?)

Niick's. She said "theme of Pride".

ProfessorOfAllTheThings · 17/11/2025 16:31

I guess it may be useful to underline the very tenuous relationship BFF has witb Outburst ie they did not collaborate for 10+ years (NC stages this is for personal rather than professional/commercial reasons) and then, with one email MD is expected and does view their objection far more favourably and with a greater degree of care than for her employee that she's worked closely with for years.

I have agreed with @MarieDeGournayon many of her thoughtful posts over the last few days. And going after stuff from a long time ago is an interesting tactic when this world has changed so much over the last 8-10 years. But I can see your viewpoint on this as well. So definitely getting splinters here. What struck me about that email was its great length and the trans-bingo hits in every paragraph. That would have taken some time to put together.

NoBinturongsHereMate · 17/11/2025 17:24

Madcats · 17/11/2025 16:14

This is today's highlight, for me:
NC you hadn't collaborated with BFF since 2011
MD no
NC in fact, collaborating was tricky wasn't it because of the relationship between you and Outburst wasn't it
MD no
NC you and Ruth McCarthy were both made directors of Outburst on the same day in 2010 and you haven't worked with them since 2011 because after that you got into a relationship with and subsequently married RM's partner
[big intervention on relevance from Sean Doherty (SD), R's barrister - NC pushes back and is allowed to ask]
MD I am not married to RM's former partner... we live together
NC so there was no real way you were going to ever work with Outburst Arts
MD no I'm a professional

What a day Sean Doherty must be having! I wonder whether he knew this?

The 'big intervention' wa SD objecting vigorously to this point being brought up because it wasn't in the evidence in chief. I think it may have come as a surprise to him.

We never had a car either @ProfessorBoiledbeetle (Congratulations on your elevation, btw.)

Getting to and from university at the beginning and end of terms was - interesting.

moto748e · 17/11/2025 17:29

What if you didn't have a car and didn't go to university? Could anyone's life withstand these body-blows? 😁

NoBinturongsHereMate · 17/11/2025 17:31

ProfLargofesse · 17/11/2025 16:30

Basically, NC has made it possible to infer that MD colluded with Ruth from Outburst before she sent out her email because why else would Outburst be so quick off the mark to respond given how long it is since they collaborated and that there is good reason they avoid such.

It might be reasonable to infer that MD was shown it before it was sent.

That MD consipired, in effect, with Outburst and two others to engineer a useful trail of complaints to meet employment law requirements for an investigation.

This is why her response to questioning about the tee-shirt, whilst it might seem on the surface to MD as a stretch, she revealed something without realising it.

When asked if she should have been investigated her immediate reply was 'there were no complaints.' Why would that be the first thought in response? You would see that NC is trying to create a parallel and if you weren't up to your neck in BS your answer would be more likely to be: but I didn't name specific groups and attack their intergrity in public, for example

It is easy to infer that at the forefront of her mind is the advice she got re investigations that they are only really justifiable if there had been complaints.

So she go got them.

It's also about Sara's being one of the 2 names in the 'to' box. The email specifically mentions the prominence of her name.
