Is this X screenshot advocating FTM sterilisation fake?

Disclaimer: I respect KJK's courage immensely, and I myself am strongly GC. I know there is a lot of suspicion about criticism of her bc of false smears she was racist or far-right. I know she is not. But I also don't believe she should be above criticism.

Why did she have to say this? I get it's probs hyperbole (hopefully) and I get that she's probs worried about the effect on kids of having a mum on hormones (maybe during pregnancy even which could be very dangerous) and then wanting to be called Dad etc... I have the same worries...

But comments about forced sterilisation are never OK imo. I thought we were trying to prevent people from sterilising via all of this horrible & unnecessary surgery : this kind of comment is counterproductive to that and unpleasant.

It feels also unpleasant due to the history of forced sterilisation of Native American women (and Greenlandic women for that matter), black women by Margaret Sanger, mentally ill women etc I just don't see why she said that kind of thing...

It's old-fashioned these days but if I want to get a good sense of what someone intended then I want to see the context.

It really feels that lately there's been a depressing trend on FWR to just repeat internet gossip.

or post what is being said on other sm forums.

What is the point of having FWR if it is just dumbed down to another sm shit show of allegations.

No, I know...I get that. I'm trying to find it. I was watching a video by a TRA 'debunking' GC campaigners. It was all the usual rubbish apart from that quote which they showed a screenshot of. It shook me as I had never imagined she'd say that..

I linked to a screenshot bc the X link I found was a screenshot by a trans group. As you say, could be made up...I don't have an X account but I'll Google again...

But your OP was written as though you believed she said it.

And almost worse so does your thread title and as FWR thread titles are picked up by search enginges you have to an unquestioning search user, confirmed that she did says this.

If you dont find the actual link you should ask MNHQ to add an Allegedly or something. You can do that by reporting your op.

Just to repeat I am not that interested in yet another thread about KJK. But think it doesn't help FWR reputation if we aren't more careful.

Unless of course current users are happy for it to be just another internet forum

i wouldn’t advocate for sterilisation but I’m firmly of the view that woman who are on testosterone should absolutely not be getting pregnant and giving birth

Is it though? X screenshots can be very convincingly faked, I read just now... Apparently one was faked saying that JKR was telling people to go back in the closet.

Can you find it on her account? And if so, I guess it shows what she was replying to?

Hmm..well- either she didn't mean it seriously & it was hyperbolic, or she meant voluntary sterilisation, or it was totally made up..

I think the screenshot, if real, is from a former account that was banned? So it wouldn't show up now even if real?
