This is confusing, I assume it relates to obtaining a GRC and retaining previous documents?

It can't be anything to do with holding a GRC, as Wallis definitely didn't have a GRC during that time period.

So a man can have a female passport "proving" he is a woman and it's not a false document but a man having his original male passport is illegal and prosecution worthy??

It can't be that as Wallace only came out as trans in Mar 2022 and continued to be called Jamie and use he/him for quite some time. The article says he is accused of being in possession of the fake document in April 2022.

It is not possible that it was literally fake documents? ie. the name was legally correct, but the documents weren't genuine.

That makes more sense doesn't it, given that he was Jamie at the time? Or at least that's what he was known as. Maybe Jamie Wallis wasn't actually his legal name.

From googling the last court appearance he said legally he is called Jamie, but prefers Katie.

I don’t think this is anything to do with Wallis’ ‘gender identity’. Presumably he has or had a false passport , that is , a passport which was either not issued legally or which was a straight up forgery. Maybe it wasn’t a British ( false) passport? Who knows, there were a lot of dodgy doings with escort and sugar daddy agencies in the c.v., perhaps it is something to do with that?

He’s a man who claims he’s a woman and the Sex and Gender section was set up specifically to discuss such issues. Mr Wallis (or whatever he calls himself) has some entertainment value, as well as being a thoroughly unpleasant and criminal person, so his ongoing saga naturally attracts comment and speculation.

He's a classic example of the tabula rasa trans; a man who declares he's a woman only when he is in hot water, in the hope it will help him erase a dodgy past and force people to treat him as a harmless victim in future.

I think this is more likely. If you look at reports of his trial for harrassment he had a lot going on.

Yes, Wallis has been in trouble for a variety of reasons and hasn't come across as a paragon of honesty

I always wonder about these people who are breaking the law or doing things any normal person wouldn’t want to draw attention to, and they take very public jobs like MP where they will be under massive scrutiny, it must be some sort of bizarre compulsion!

Whatever the logistics of his passports, he'll probably get away with a slap on the wrist because he'll claim he had mental health problems because of his gender identity.
