This is confusing, I assume it relates to obtaining a GRC and retaining previous documents?

Or maybe he went through all the ‘indignities’ of revealing his speshulness, including changing his name and affirming his stunning-and-brave new feminine self, but continued travelling as James Wallis. So now a passport that accurately reflects its holder’s maleness is actually considered false if its holder’s pretence of being the opposite sex is ratified by the state that issued it.
