Thanks for the link.

And a reminder that there are individual women all round the UK taking a stand, often on their own, and not always acknowledged.

Maybe we should have a thread that lists each one or something.

I would like to read her thesis - it sounds like she is an intelligent young women. I can’t imagine how difficult it was for her, especially being taught by a lecturer so invested in GI.

So a professional person paid to supervise and lecture students can't bare to carry out their duties because the student concerned doesn't agree with them.
This person will be at least 30, if not older, and quite possibly transitioned as an adult. Therefore knowing that her dissertation is based on factual information about sex and biology.
I'm sure there will have been similar conflicting situations before regarding race or culture. I wonder if the lecturers involved in those cases decided they were too upset to advise their student.

She was on a podcast from Spike, she was smart, articulate and very impressive, it restored my hope in the youngest generation of adults. 😁

I remember the interview Andrew Gold try to do with the person who complained about CS which resulted in her being kicked of the radio. That student was, ridiculous, she was brimming over with self righteous rage, and could barely get her words out, the term frothy at the mouth can to mind.

Now that CS has graduated, I hope she'll take further action against the Uni that so very nearly sabotaged her future, who harassed, bullied and threaten her. 👍

Thanks for the FSU link. I will look at that. She’s an impressive young woman.

There was a thread about this in the past
Leeds student suspended from University Radio for GC views | Mumsnet
but there's no harm at all in bringing it to our attention again, thank you OP.

Bloody hell. I missed this . What a brave young woman. They did that because she interviewed Glinner? The absolute cheek of them! I wish her the very best of luck- she has more guts than any of the ones that complained about her and I thank her for speaking out !
