They aren't doing a very good job of "defending the common good" but they are getting a lot of money for saying they are. Reminds me a bit of Jack Monroe, lots of talk not much in way of results.

If you want to employ sarcasm it’s always wise to encase your point in inverted commas, otherwise it reads like that’s what you’re saying.

Your point would be relevant if they did any such thing, but they don’t. They grift money from vulnerable people to spend on court cases they already know they will lose.

Anyone wanting to further make life interesting for GLP the garden for Sarah Phillimore's case has started being planted today and there are a lot of seeds already. Maugham is about to find out about how the law works. It really looks rather bad for the fox basher as his position is weak even for him.
