Well I've just found the second one by someone whose schtick appears to be 'You women can have social freedom OR you can have single sex spaces, but you can't have both', & one which is bitching about JKR. Two unbelievable bits: the first poster described themselves on their other thread as 'a staunch feminist' & from the 'poisoning the well' thread, JKR apparently has a grift which allows her to make money out of being GC - how exactly, & why would she need to? (& can we all get paid for it?)

These bilge threads are joining into one great stream of effluent in my memory now, but somewhere I just read an OP say that men are demonised & are afraid of women. 🙄

pedantically, probably should have been roasted beetle but that lacks alliteration - the American ‘broil’ perhaps? Though in 1976, sans internet or a copy of Webster’s the meaning of ‘broil’ was a mystery. It’d crop up in Little Women etc along with words like ‘sassafras’ -wtf?- to be left to our imaginations.
