Female fencers are irrelevant, you do not belong here, and we ignore you.

I hope some enterprising female fencers set up their own competitions/leagues

So will the TW and NB fencers fight each other or will they have to play in the men's league because that won't make them happy - they want to be in the women's league not the mens

So does that mean trans-men would just compete against other trans-men? Or would they compete against trans-women?
and would there be any point in a transman competeing against a trans-woman given the difference in biology?
so if it’s just trans-men competing against other transmen and vis-à-vis for trans-women it begs the question why not have a trans category; because by eliminating women, that’s what they have pretty much done, so it’s not such a victory as the muppets first thought is it?!
Maybe there is a more sinister ploy at play and they want to eliminate women from fencing; but since they claim to be women should they not eliminate themselves? By gum, you could go quite doollaly, trying to work out the logic on this one…

Wow that is absolutely fucking appalling. While the organisers pat themselves on the back for their virtuous protection of trans competitors, all women lose the right to fair competition.

I am concerned that this misogynistic batshittery will inspire other sporting bodies to follow suit in some anti Trump inspired virtue signalling all again at the expense of women and girls.

Well done to Stephanie Turner for her protest, I had completely missed this story. Devastated that again women are a sacrificial lamb in the sports they love and have invested in. It’s utter madness. I just hope this makes people understand and be aware that we are so far removed from women having true rights and protections we deserve in all segments of life.

Also, note the name of the cartoonist. Sophie Labelle. That's a trans-identifying male person who identifies as a "little," a person who role-plays being a child. That's combined with a nappy fetish. Labelle's most famous work is a fetish-motivated cartoon that's based on a photo of an real-world child.

Labelle is also quite open about how he gets off on filling his nappy in front of unsuspecting (and obviously unconsenting) women.

Yes this. It’s horrible and outrageous, but it’s not what trans-identifying male sports players who want into women’s categories want at all. It’s taking away their validation and power, and it’s effectively recognising that they’re causing a problem by being male in the female category.

I hope there’s plenty of support and funding for a women-only league or body (or a new body with single sex categories)

I don’t see why we all need to welcome various paraphilia. It isn’t my job to reduce your shame at your own behaviour, chaps. Feel the shame and learn from it. Be better.

tbh - and i speak as someone who fenced at school and later in the Army - i think at this stage we would be better if all the fuckers who allow men in women's competitions did this.

Visibly, publicly and all at the same time. And then, and only then, will the normies understand what is happening.

When other countries either send men to women's international competitions, or home grown talent can't get in because men take all the spots.

And then we have to fight for women's things again. We have done it before, and with less general support, i think.
