Minnesota Fencing Division Eliminates Women's Competitions Rather Than Ban Trans Athletes

And I was hoping someone would post the picture of the horse with the sign so I could save it for later.

Surely this will actually ‘disadvantage’ trans women though. All the trans identifying athletes we know of got nowhere when they were competing in the men’s division. It was only when they moved to the women’s that they had any sort of success.
If there’s no women’s division for them to invade then they won’t have any chance of winning.

yes, it serves several purposes:

1. it alerts people who haven't a clue that this is going on, that women are being edged out of things.
2. It also puts TRA noses out of joint, something which will Force Them To Speak About it.

Shame is part of the attraction. Once shame is reduced they need to do more to feel that shame again - be more extreme and more harmful to those around them in order to achieve that same degree of arousal.

What a shit show. I can’t get my head around how people can think this is ok.

It is a more honest response than simply have a men’s category and a mixed sex category they call ‘women’s’ which many sport do.

This is a good example of what I think is the motivating force in a lot of TRA reactions and counteractions: spite.

Many of the reactions to the SC ruling were spiteful, the declared intention to continue using women's toilets is spiteful, the saccharine-y expressions of support for our poor scared trans employees were spiteful...

Having said that, I now expect TRAs to do their DARVO mirroring thing and start accusing GC women of being ..spiteful!

It's what they do- not having anything original to say, they repeat our words and analyses back at us. Immature in the extreme.

So Minnesota fencing have been learning from the Labour Party - women’s activities are there on sufferance and on condition they prioritise men. Failure to do this means no women’s activities.

The best thing wonen fencers can do is leave the men to it. And set up their own league.

if it's anything like the fencing club i am tangentially involved with, that means there will be no refreshments, no loo rolls being replaced when they run out etc etc.
